  1. Yeah them evols' are like 1k or somthing arn't they? Hell.. If I had the coin I'd take a set thats for sure! I think what its gonna come down to is what your willing to pay for a set of shocks.
  2. Its probably not needed on stock carbs unless your runnin alky. But yes it will work with stock carbs also. I like them just because it cleans up the fuel line clutter and if you ever want to go bigger.. You got one!
  3. Yeah 5 gal should get me through the day. Apreciate it!!
  4. IMO.. I think its going to be a trial and error.. A pipe that runs stronger on one motor might be the weakest on the next setup. Only person who could tell ya which pipe would be the strongest on your bike will be your builder. If you got the pipes to try. Throw them on and hit a dyno and see which ones run the best for ya.
  5. Anyone going that could hook me up with some alky? I dont know if I'll have my barrel by then or not..
  6. Atari 2600?? wow dave... we're Old!!! Most of these kids are like "WTF is a 2600???" lol
  7. I agree, You can save some BIG coin if you buy a complete bike ready to go.
  8. Squirrel can't even fix his rear brake without help...(Dajogejr tried to help him with that also) Yet he feels he's a pro on proper chassis set up... Probably can't even change a set of plugs without supervision.. He didn't make any comment about the swinger on the all chrome F.A.S.T bike.. He was just looking for some way to start some shit with Dajogejr.. I'm done with this thread.... maybe we'll get lucky and it'll bury itself in a few days. Go ahead.. call me a nut swinger or what not.. I don't mind... I think its pointless to get worked up over stuff that people say on the internet.. Anyone who reads this knows who credible and who isn't. Have a nice day!
  9. Sorry, I'm not making a drive to FL. That would cost me over 1k in fuel... I was talking about meeting in the middle in KY. Little Sandy
  10. I'll front some prize money.. $100 That should help pay for some of the gast to get there. No bigger then +6 Vs. no shorter then +14 (No bars, stock length chassis. May the best driver win) Sound Fair? Guess not.. posted while I was making my post.
  11. set mine to .017
  12. I've gotten all my paddles through him.
  13. Dont get ur G-string all knoted up... I think if you ask any top builder how to setup a bike for the track... I doubt its gonna be a short swinger and no bar.. Most of them use a +8 and a bar... +10's with shorter stretch.. but maybe thats just because they can't find good riders.
  14. its a stock style carrier Bump for a great seller!
  15. I'm pretty sure he said no bar.. He didn't say "every bike needs a +14" He said "its a crap shoot" wich means every bike/build/setup/rider is different and will have different needs. He was using his bike as a example. sheeshh..... Lighten up
  16. brb.. I gotta go clean up...
  17. I use threebond 1104 I think its only about 4 bucks a tube.
  18. Preach on brotha!! By the way.. I like boobs...
  19. I wonder if you could send a wheelie bar tire out and have it buffed? lol SLS bar tires!!!
  20. how many total do we have Dave?
  21. I'm in!! just gotta get my shit together and start wrenchin!!! gotta bunch of lil stuff to do... But.. I should be ready!!!
  22. Just for arguments sake.. Aside from porting.. who actually wrenches, builds and tunes their own motors? Just curious if all this information here is first hand or not?
  23. Some of us do.. but alot of us take our bikes right from the track and hit the dunes for some racing too. It'd be kinda ruff out there with a strut. Although some people have been known to do it........... I wont mention any names! lol
  24. PM sent
  25. They can be.. depends on the nitrogen charge. Pump up the pressure and it'll be as stiff as a strut.. let some out and it can be pretty soft. Kinda best of both worlds as long as you got a charge station handy. I agree with mark though.. If I had my choice ( and money) I would have gotten the floats! only weight .5lbs more then a shaw or somthing like that.
