safest way to find a length is measure it out. I used 2 jacks. One in front and one in the rear. With a link setup and a +12 arm I ended up going with a 12.25"

the Pro-x pistons are casted. With both pistons being 66.5. Generally the (forged pistons) wiseco will require a bigger piston/cylinder clearance over the (casted pistons) Pro-X.

Need to buy a leak down test kit.. they're about 40-50 bucks from RB racing. I'd try some bigger pilots for shits and giggles.. if that dont work then I'd do the leak test.

Depends.. If they have to cut new shafts it will be alot more.. They can change the spacer but it will only shorten them a lil bit. I forget off hand how much Becky said they can shorten them before they need new shafts.

send them back with your rear shock and they change the pressure for free. you can release them... but getting them the same is going to be almost impossible. be VERY carefull you dont let all the charge out. Cody did you get a quote on how much they charge to change the lenght?? you might be in the same boat I am.. It might be cheaper to order a new one and sell yours. if yours was 13" I'd be all over it!!

Doesn't guard beams stop beam jumping? Thought to be a PS certified track it needed guard beams.? Or is that not what guard beams do? And last I talked to Dan he said he was 125ish lol. Whats the requirements for Midget status?

Becky at yarnell told me they ride great in the dunes. They use a different valving system then the comps and can be adjusted more. And if you want a little better ride they can be converted into coil overs where the comps cant. Can't really comment on first hand experience though.. I've never riddin a hillshooter in the dunes.. only comps.

It would work. Just need to let a lil PSI out of it and make sure the 14" is going to give you the ride height your looking for. I'm pretty sure 14" is the stock length.. so it would sit similar to if you were using a stock shock.

could just be filling up the trans section of the case. How much oil have you added so far?

I got a Marvin shaw hill shooter rear shock. Its never been used, only bolted on. It measure 14" eye to eye. $210 shipped. I'll have pics up tomorrow.

He's looking to trade it for some used plastic.. Its not a bad deal. Their might be someone out there thats interested in his equipment and happens to have a extra set of plastic. That looks a bit odd to me.. I've had 3 sets sleeved and none of them looked like that. :geek: As for me selling junk on ebay. I kinda resent that statemate... I dont sell Junk and never will. I describe everything 110% right down the the smallest scratch. And them cylinders are FAR from being junk. A set of cylinders that need resleeved sell for 100.00+ all day long. Take that 100.00 and put it with the 200+ you'd pay to have them resleeved and you could buy a set of stock or ported cylinders off ebay. I paid 300.00 for a set that came with brand new pistons. That was my point of selling them on ebay. Not to screw people.
