  1. You guys might have to check that north east corner.. That always seems to be dry. You guys all suck.. Wish my banshee was done. Just heard teh news today my motor is scheduled for deilvery tomorrow!! Soo.. as soon as its back in the chassis.. ITS ON!!
  2. I 100% agree JD.. But at what price? RDZ tripple exhaust port (lvl 4) porting is 1400 bucks.. just for the porting!
  3. what he said.
  4. If I had pictures of Dave's ol lady.. I'd take up scrap booking too!!
  5. I got a set of stock carbs that I drilled for alky.. We used them in my brothers bike for the last ride of the year.. I'll make a kiler deal on them if your interested..
  6. I'd run the 20's... if thats your only choices... Are the domes Pro-Design style domes? If so.. maybe contact Dave Noss and he could cut you some custom domes to match your Octane.
  7. I'd like to add that you burn twice as much alky as you do gas... so you might aswell times the price of alky by 2 when comparing to race fuel.
  8. What do they want you to do?? shit in a bucket?? WTF? lol
  9. H2's were nice.. 125hp is feaseable.. but I'm not so sure about 134mph.. I suppose it could be done with the right gearing..
  10. I dont know anyone personally using his lvl 3 drag port... But I have seen them run.. I'm not sure if they were using his lvl 3 or 4 porting though... 700 for porting alone is kinda pricey when cubs only case 200 more..
  11. where these carbs new or used?
  12. In dusty conditions the K&N filters dont protect very well. They work great in sand as it just bounces off.. but they dont work so well for that fine dust. I'd rather loose a HP or 2 and protect the motor. You wont ever miss 2hp. Just my opinion ofcourse..
  13. You guys both suck... Maybe I can catch the next ride.
  14. I'd use a twin air filter with a tacky oil.
  15. I've been serious about my drag bike for about 4-5yrs now.. and Its never done.. Its always tore down in the winter for upgrades and maintainence. A drag bike and a tight budget are not a good combo.. You'll always end up spending more then what you intended to spend.. If your serious about it then you need to do things right the first time or it'll cost you alot more in the long run. As far as the budget axle.. A blaster axle would have been the better choice. The DB axles are supposedly built stronger.. so they use more material which makes them alot heavier then even a stock axle.
  16. I like the boyessen dual stage reeds..
  17. RDZ is known for his stock cylinder builds... He currently holds the record for fastest 350cc stock cylinder motor. I think it ran a 3.8 somthing. But his port work is VERY pricey...
  18. A drag bike is never finished.....
  19. Deffinately not needed on a 421 cub.. But They do make the cover without the support.. and if you decided to add the support at a later time.. you can! I got one and its by far the best stator cover I've seen.. looks and quality!
  20. lol thats just my twin blaster motor... thats nothing serious... lol
  21. Good Idea Justin... I might have to try that one!! lol
  22. All aluminum will twist and bend from the torque. It takes twice as much aluminum to match the strength of moly. So the weight savings would be minimal if any.. If the chassis was built correctly.. I saw one on ebay awhile back. No way I would run that.. its just a accident waiting to happen. It will fail... its just a matter of time. Lets just hope your not doing 70+ when somthing decides to go.
  23. Or.. it might not be built strong enough and will twist up like a pretzel.
  24. Thats what I was thinking!
