  2. More gains are available with a rechambered head or custom cut domes vs. a decked pump gas head. Banshees are thirsty, especially when you increase displacement. So if you can afford race gas, go for it!

  6. I've always wanted an R for trails, but I'm torn between 4 wheels and 2 for trails, preferably a 2009 or newer KTM 300 XCW! If I get an R, my teenage sons can ride it.
  7. I hear ya! I couldn't imagine running trails on my banshee. I spent waaayyy too much on my suspension to beat the hell of it on rocks and shit! I'd have no problem beating the hell out of 450R stock suspension components on trails though!

  11. Thanks man... I ride the dunes hard, and I can't stand how my body got beat to hell in rough sand on stock suspension and steering! Yeah, the money could've been spent else where in life, but the feeling I get dune riding my banshee is so therapeutic to me, that all my mods are worth every single penny!!
  12. You can say that because you've probably spent 3x that on your Banshee... Hell, I've spent 3x that on my suspension and handling alone... BTW, I like it!!
  13. The best money I've ever spent on my bike is when I upgraded my steering with an Anti-Vibe Steering Stem, Pro Taper Contour Bars and ODI Rouge clamp-on grips. Arm pump was virtually eliminated and to ride the rough stuff, I stand up, lean back, grab 4th and gas it!! My stock front suspension was in excellent shape but with just my full bolt-on stock motor, I couldn't use all of the power or speed. Now that my suspension is fully mod'd there's a Redline Serval on Cam's workbench as we speak...

  15. Aren't Cub's damn near drag ported "as cast". I wouldn't run a Cub on pump if someone paid made to.   20. 60 whp by 7k rpm is very impressive. Try some CPI's Tony. I've seen a dyno chart where they make damn near the same power up the face of the curve as Snipers but run out of steam ~500 rpm sooner than Snipers.

  24. Exactly!! Nice analogy!! My buddy has yet to get off his ass and run a 15T up front. He needs trans work before then though. He has a hard time getting into 1st. And he'll need first in the dunes with paddles and a 15T. I sure hope gearing is all that's needed. Hopefully one if these guys can get that part of the equation done since they both have 421 DL motors w/SLP's...
