  1. Yes Sir! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Nice, thanks for clearing that up! I'm getting a Pingel w/reserve from Cam as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Nope, motor is dyno tuned with 33's putting down 99hp with Snipers on pump gas.
  4. Be careful running 28's on a 421. I've read about ported Cubs sucking bowls dry during long pulls. I would've run 35's but they were back-ordered 6 months when I bought my 33's back in Jan.
  5. Cool, thanks, I'll hit him up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. What are some high quality chains that last? I usually get the o-ring chain by the foot from FAST, but that shit don't last. What do you guys suggest for duning with a 90+ hp Serval, 14/41 gearing, +2 swingarm and 21x12x8, 8 paddle extremes? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Do it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Link to dyno room thread! http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?/topic/189428-90hp-redline-pump-gas-421-serval-duner/#comment-1870872 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah, about that... I'm thinking a black tank. Not sure if I can get the blue tank anymore. I just ordered Snipers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Mods are: Redline MX Ported pump gas 421 Serval 33mm PWK's w/pods VF4's Cross-overed UPP Intakes CPI's are for sale... +4* of timing Redline clutch w/lock up I'll also have a set of race gas domes, but that is for riding at over 4,000ft elevation on pump. Cameron said race gas numbers to follow. Red = Sniper pipes 99/52.5 Blue = CPI pipes 93/51.6 Green = Shearer pipes 96/50.3 Check out the power and torque difference at 6,500 to 8,000 rpm Needless to say my brand new unridden CPI's are for sale. More to come on that. I'll post pics and ads for my three sets of pipes I'll be selling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Sooo, it's been a minute. Talked to Cameron today. Motor made really good pump gas numbers. Pipes tested were Shearers and CPI's. Snipers to follow. Next week race gas numbers on all three pipes. Stay tuned!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Make sure your intakes are tight. Torque the screws to 120in•lbs. You may have to go over them multiple times to get them all equal. Make sure there are no tears in the intakes where the cross-over tube attaches. 30 pilots and 310 mains should be on the rich side at your elevation. Make sure your carbs are synced at idle and part throttle. And ultimately do a leak down test when shee starts acting up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I don't know about that.
  14. 50 pilot was the ticket! Woke the bottom end to mid range up! Air screws are at 2.5 turns out, but I'm anticipating turning them in once I get to Pismo in the cool dense ocean air. Had to retune idle and sync. Dialed in part throttle sync now and it flat out rips. Pulls through the power band strong and smooth. Tomorrow morning in the cool air I'm gonna verify the tune and plug chop the mains. Right now the mains are 155's and the JJH needles are on the middle clip.
  15. Well, I gave it a slow primer kick and then gave it a good kick and it fired right up and purred. I let her warm up, sync'd the carbs and set the idle to ~1,550rpm. 48 pilots JJH needles middle clip 155 main Air screws are 3/4 turns out in 90* weather. I ride in 60-80* weather, so I'm going to put 50's in. Runs great, pulls clean throughout the power band. It's blowin the stock tires off on the country road. I can't wait to get her to the sand and let this 21x12x8 8 paddle extremes really get the traction down. I'm letting her cool down then I'm gonna check the torque on reeds, head and cylinders. I have a little clutch drag, but I think I dial that in at the perch. I'll have more later tonight.
  16. http://www.shiny-red.net/guides/how-to-jet-your-carb/ I found the info below in the link above. Rich Jetting Symptoms and Solutions Motor won’t idle and idle set screw is ineffective. Try leaning out the air screw by turning it counter-clockwise a quarter turn at a time. If the air screw has no effect, install a leaner pilot jet and return the air screw to 1 turn out. Proper air screw settings are usually between 1 and 2 1/2 turns out. The correct pilot for your motor is one that allows instant off-idle throttle response, and allows the air screw to be effective between 1 and 2.5 turns out. If the problem still exists, check and clean the choke circuit and carb vent lines. Here's more info. http://www.shiny-red.net/guides/keihin-carburetor-jetting/
  17. I hit up Cory from Kompulsive Koncepts and he said I can run the rewound stator and that since I'm not using lights to just plug the main plug into the harness and leave the two bullet connectors unplugged.
  18. Ahh, that's right! Thank you! Reason I'm asking this question is that I'm going to fire the Powerline dune port 350 today and I'm just trying to cover my ass with a spare stator in case the roached out stator that's in the motor that Don at Powerline built for me gives me any trouble.
  19. Good point! Although I can never remember his screen name. Do you know it, can you PM me his screen name?
  20. Thank you for the fast responses guys! And if the Albino you are referring to is Gary, then yes sir! So, connect the bullet connectors and the square white plug, but keep the headlights unplugged from the harness and I should be good to go?
  21. Hi! I'm electrical systems retarded. I have a high output stator that's been rewound and DC converted by an HQ member. I am wondering, if I were in a pinch and needed a stator, can I use this rewound high-ouput stator on a bike that doesn't have an upgraded reg/rectifier nor headlights? If so, do I connect it like normal, both bullet connectors and the large square white plug?
  22. My Powerline Performance 350 Dune port has a Driveline Dune Clutch in it. Installing the motor today, but won't be able to ride it until next weekend. Not sure what kind of power you're putting down, but FWIW, Cam at Redline is putting in one of his Redline Racing Clutches w/heavy duty springs in my +80rwhp Serval. I asked him if I'd need a lockout for the Serval, and he said, "The Redline Racing clutch w/heavy springs will hold all the power of a Serval no problem, but it will have a heavy clutch pull. If you don't mind a heavy clutch pull, then you'll be good to go."
  23. Right on! BTW, the Powerline Performance 350 Dune Port shipped out and is scheduled to be delivered this Friday. One week turnaround and delivery 1 week ahead of schedule. I'll get her installed and tuned this weekend!
  24. I know! But are the 916's better than Pro Circuits? I have FMF Fatty's, Pro Circuits and T5's I can sell to buy a new set of pipes. Are there any differences between the Alien vs 916's other than the obvious? I'm not sure how I feel about the center exit exhaust.
  25. I did ask Don what pipes he liked for use on his dune port 350's, and he said DMC 916's. I told Don I have CPI's, PC's and T5's to choose from and he said, "on this motor PC's over the CPI's and T5's all day, but if this was a 4mil stk cyl dune port, then CPI's for sure." The CPI's are going on the Redline MX Ported Serval. Maybe when this dune port 350 goes back into the 97 I'll sell the PC's and T5's and get a set of DMC 916's...
