  1. Try the iridium plugs (br8eix) Expensive, but about impossible to foul out.
  2. Nope.
  3. I don't run windows = no viruses. Course if you just pay attention, 99% of the time you can spot a virus email anyways.
  4. FLOATS are great shocks. I've never heard a complaint about them, other than the Evols may have too much adjustability. Those in the auction though are too long for a banshee. Banshee shocks are 14.75 inches eye to eye, those are 18.5.
  5. Damn, get this dude out of your ass for a second and look at the facts. THAT flywheel is too thin. End of story. It never should have been sent to a customer like that. Im 99% sure I already know who it is, and I'll bet most other people that have been here for a while know who it is too. Come out and say it already.
  6. PVC can also shatter in cold temperatures. Its not really the best option, although it might be the cheapest. Just use copper lines.
  7. Yuengling is only sold in about 11 or 12 states on the east coast. They show it on their website. Its my favorite, with Blue Moon second, and Sweetwater 420 3rd.
  8. More than likely its a bad head gasket/o-ring. Spitting coolant out the overflow doesn't mean its overheating, it means its spitting coolant out the overflow. Overheating is just a common cause. Wouldn't hurt to flush the cooling system with a vinegar/water mix though to clean it out.
  9. Well, if anybody thinks that riding a kite with no tail is a good idea, then go for it by all means. Please remove yourself from the human gene pool, we don't need you. And theres been waaay more than 2 people killed on those things. And countless others put in the ICU.
  10. Get the fuck out of here you fucking spammer. I hope you die a horrible death while you watch all those you love suffer.
  11. Have you ever driven with the wheels toed out? Basically it makes the front end twitchy at speed. It will respond and turn quck, but its not a stable feeling. Makes you feel like your going to wreck. Thats what happens when your going through rough terrain on a banshee (or anything that has bump steer). Running 1/2" of toe in keeps it from being that bad, but the more toe in you run, the less responsive the steering feels. If you've ever seen those pics of Sundahls banshee frames, he basically elminated all bump steer by crossing the a-arms over.

  13. Bump steer is not something thats obvious like you might think. Bump steer isn't when you hit a bump and the bars try and jerk out of your hand. Bump steer is what happens when the suspension and steering aren't designed properly. As the suspension cycles, the wheels will steer one way or the other. The wide frame rails cause it on a banshee. The ideal situation: draw a line between the ball joints on your a-arm. The tie-rod end should fall in that line. Same thing with the a-arm mounts at the frame. And your tie-rod should be at the same angle as the a-arms.
  14. Theres been a bunch of people killed on these things this summer. And most of them have been pulled off the market. Its just not an aerodynamically stable design. One wrong gust of wind, and all the sudden you take off 40 ft in the air and flip over. Not something Id try.
  15. What do you mean has the ability? Its inevitable. :shoothead: Let the flame war commence.
  16. Tie rod and a-arm angles should be the same, or very close to it. You start running them at different angles and you get bump steer.
  17. I've always used Oakley until my last pair. Not even a year old and the foam just fell apart. My next goggles will be Smith. Buddy of mine had some and they are well made. And I have a pair of their sunglasses too.
  18. Durhamtown? Theres a new place opening up in SC at the end of the year, right north of columbia. http://www.carolinaadventureworld.com/ I could try to make the trip.
  19. Use to be in clemson, but Im in aiken now.
  20. Definately ditch the marine crap oil, and get something made for bikes and atvs.
  21. They've got around 50 different fuels. VP 110 is 110 octane R+M/2.
  22. Yes that is an excellent quesion. So how bout it?
  23. Those of you that ride in the dunes don't have to worry about it, but rocks can ding the shafts which can damage the seals. Mud and other stuff building up on the shocks can shorten the life of the seals. Plus if you go to sell the shocks and have had covers on them, they look brand new and you'll get a bunch more for them. Myself, I used to have Shockwears on my old works. I just recently got the neoprene covers from PEP for my new shocks, and I like them better. Not really any particular reason why I guess.
  24. A lot of the newer oils do, just look for EC on the bottle (energy conserving). The oils that have that, you don't want.
