  1. i would go with a 21x12x8 (8) paddle hauler.
  2. where did you get a 5mill crank?
  3. where in the world have you been, dave? i wont be out for labor day weekend. we are shooting for the weekend after. yall try to make it out there for that weekend too. lol
  4. oh no. you didnt just go there....
  5. Did you get some CEL needles also? put your needles on middle clip, air screws 2 turns out from lightly seated and see what you got. get it tuned in good then start bumping your timing up a little bit.
  6. you can use the same air filters but you will need bigger intakes.
  7. i usually try to do my own tuning unless the bike is fuel injected. what's wrong with your bike?
  8. go hwy 49 south to wiggins, take hwy26 (i believe) west. go a couple of miles or so. im not sure but i blieve it is old hwy 26 or so, at the bottom of a hill take a left. there is a sign there at the intesection but last time i went, it was grown over with vegetation. take a left at that intersection, keep left for a couple of miles untill you see another sign. jeff has a website www.sandhillatv.com great place to ride and have fun. poorboy, do you have anything to run me with yet. j/k I dont think I will make it this weekend, maybe next weekend.
  9. i think you're are full of it a lot of times but, i have to agree with you on that 100%... :teehee: i have seen a stock port banshee with an override kick some butt. i got my override from dave's buddy, evan is it? works well. not hard to install at all.
  10. i am going to have to disagree with you disagreement of not needing an override. if you are going to drag race, i think an override is a must. that cub is putting out some power. and like yall said, its no good if you cant get it to the ground. well.....it's no good if you cant shift it either. you can definately shorten your times down the track just bangin the gears on an override. anything you can do to lighten up your bike will help greatly also. i would be on the lookout for a drag axle as well as a longer swingarm and a wheelie bar.
  11. i am sorry and i know its just my opinion but, anything 2 into 1 does not belong on a banshee. i beat a lot of 2 into 1 choked down banshees with the 700 raptor that i used to have. and to the original poster, i would take the fattys or pro circuits over the single pipe. i dont have any experience with the pro circuits but the fattys do pretty well in most riding conditions.
  12. now that you have your own banshee in your signature, it needs to be bigger.
  13. i use 3.50-10 scooter tires. they seem to work well. they are tad smaller than 18" dia though....
  14. if you are not a fan of the bling, whats all that shit on your clutch side of your engine and the trail techs? if you want inframe drag pipes, get some shearers. they rev out better, they fit way better than the cpis ever will and the stingers wont burn holes in your air filters...
  15. where are you located and how much are you asking?
  16. evidentally you can not read. read my post (above) again. it says: the powerband is the range of operating speeds under which an engine is able to operate efficiently....:geek: the internal combustion of gasoline makes it activate.... the individual makeup of any one engine will determine the rpm range in which makes up the "powerband"
  17. here is a rendering of a powerband i believe a powerband is the range of operating speeds under which an engine is able to operate efficiently.... :geek:
  18. i took my front brakes off because of the weight savings. one good rear brake is all you need. especially if you run really aggressive paddles, that right there will create one heck of a drag on the bike as soon as you let off the throttle.
  19. lighten the frame, remove front brakes, front spindle mount wheels, drag axle...any kind of light weight parts will help you. those T5's are holding you back also. what kind of fuel are you using? if you're running race gas, bump your timing up a little bit. or you may want to look at converting over to alcohol...
  20. you dont have to remove the shift shaft to replace the seal. remove the shift lever, remove stator cover and use a pick to get the seal out....
  21. no offense or anything but, you must not have any experience with a ported banshee. your best bang for the buck is getting a port job and no better time to do it when rebuilding your top end. there are plenty of sponsers here that can steer you twards a good port job and plenty of info the set it up.
  22. what kind of times will it run in 300'?
  23. i dont know what you have done to your bike but, i would say something like a 21X12X8. you can dune those and still have plenty of tire to drag race and hillshoot.
  24. thanks for the parts, nathan.
  25. the trans drain bolt, or the case bolts? if you have coolant seeping from either of those, you have serious problems. Chances are it may be seeping out somewheres around the clutch cover or the drain bolts on the sides of the cylinders and running down the engine?
