  1. the little loop thingy fits into an indention in the engine case behind the starter assembly. rotate the kicker stop around to the same area, then you gotta rotate the spring around to put tension on it and attach the little hook on the spring pin. and yes, it will kick back and leave a nice mark in you clutch cover if you put it in wrong. clear as mud? lol
  2. i have had both shearer and cpi inframe and i liked the shearers better in fitment and performance. i didnt have any of the mentioned problems fitting around the carburetors.
  3. i guess none of you numbnuts have anything else to say about my new jabberjaw stock stroke 4mill?
  4. there is an o-ring that goes in there. I would suggest making a trip down to the closest autoparts store to find a replacement.
  5. i would pass on them. i bought a used piece of crap motor that had big bore cylinders and they were utter and complete crap.
  6. yamaha shop manual says M16X1.0 on the pto side and M12X1.25 on the flywheel side.
  7. has this race went down yet? i had a good running 700raptor and my outlander 800r would run with it all day. and my raptor would smoke a piped banshee. if your friend with the outlander can launch it without looping it, he should be right there with your banshee. dont miss a shift either, all your friend has to do is mash the gas and he's gone.
  8. I have a new hot cams valve shim kit for 2002~2009 honda crf450 & trx450r. i only used (3) shims when i installed a cam in the 450r that i had. these sell for about 80 new...... i will take 65 OBO shipped.
  9. did the internals just not match the description of what you were sold?
  10. ha, you gotta watch those david germains. at least this one ^ lol
  11. i have a stock crank that's been trued and welded and all the bearings are in great shape. 125 shipped
  12. i have a stock crank that has been trued and welded. bearings are in good shape. i was going to use it for a project that i am not doing anymore. 150 shipped. i am out of town on business today but i will be back tonight and can get it to the ups man for you tomorrow.
  13. what kind of adjuster is that? is it a stocker with the needle (pancake) bearing added or a cascade or..........? it looks to me like your adjuster is sticking too far out away from your pressure plate. maybe it only seems that way because you dont have the rest of your clutch assembled in that picture. it sounds like you have the order of pieces in there correctly.
  14. sounds like you need a little researching done yourself. last I looked, it was the crankshaft that dictated the length of piston travel and not the piston. you sound just like the group of numbnuts that sold me this motor? or are you the retard that originally put this thing together?
  15. i have a good stock crank that has been trued & welded, bearings are in great shape. 150 shipped.
  16. that is how i measured mine. 2.07 in converts to 52.578 mm. are you measuring on the very outside edge of the piston crown to the top deck? are you using a good set of calipers to measure? are you sure the piston is at the very bottom of the stroke? just making sure.
  17. that sounds all too familar to me. i am doing the same thing. the deeper that i dug into my motor, the more i found wrong with it. i am a firm believer in "what goes around comes around." goddamn fucking scamming cocksuckers. sorry to mud up your thread with such foul language.
  18. i always do a leakdown test after assembling a fresh engine. rule of thumb is for it to hold 6lbs of air for 6 minutes. one can go to the hardware store to get the components to assemble your own leak tester. all you need to do is find something to plug the exhaust ports, pipe plugs work great. plug the intakes and fix a low pressure gauge and air valve to one of the fittings.
  19. Good seller here. Product was as advertised and great communication. Thanks James.
  20. i dont think you want this crank. it's not in runnable condition. a couple of the sponsors on here had some smokin' deals on a new hot rods 4mil and that's welded too. if you are looking for used, i would be extremely cautious in your purchase.
  21. if you go the 4-stroke route i would suggest a can-am outlander 800r or renegade. i have one and it makes one hell of a true trail bike.
