How deep is that scratch in the cyl deck? Doesnt look too bad. These would be perfect for someone that wanted to send off to port and keep their bike intact to minimize down time.

if i had to do it all over again, i would have just started with a 20mm cougar. spend all the money up front in the beginning, screw taking baby steps.....

how much do you have your timing advanced? what jetting, those 2 things can make you overheat.

it should be put on the hose from the head to the radiator. that way you are getting a reading straight off the engine. may be a little hard to see running inframe exhaust.

Quick turnaround is great but you cant rush perfection. i love my f.a.s.t. dune ported 350, beat up on some 4strokes with it this past weekend.

They do help. Better throttle response and add a couple hp. On a complete stocker, you arent going to get a bigger "seat of your pants" feel in added hp like you would a cool head with smaller domes & pipes.

Very nice bike. A 4 mill will gain you a couple of bike lengths. That lonestar axle is nice and light but keep an eye on it. The wheel hubs like to come loose and the splines will wear out. I would suggest some shearers, oofs if all you are going to do is race it on the track.

Yes. Go less teeth on front sprocket and more on the rear more torque faster acceleration less top speed. The opposite for more top end speed. Your setup and terrain will dictate what gearing will be best for you.

just an observation but your engine isnt going to make any hp if you dont correct that.

If you arent going to ride any sand, i wouldnt go over +4 on your swingarm.

Its not uncommon to use a bent piece of flatbar to secure your pipes to your footpeg. Its also a good idea to put a piece of rubber between the pipe mount and peg or flatbar. That will cushion out unwanted vibration and not break the mounts. I suggest a trip to the hardware store. Hope this helps

all the cpi inframe pipes i have ever seen are stamped. i have yet to see any hand coned, unstamped cpi inframes.

I have a set of used Toomey T5s for sale. bought these pipes in April this year new straight from Toomey. Probably have 10hrs, maybe more, on them. They are in great shape. There is a little bit of rust on them here and there. They have the normal scratches where they mount to the cylinders from the exhaust springs. O-rings are in great shape too. The right expansion chamber has (2) small dings in it. Looks like they were there before before they were chromed as there arent any signs of impact in the chrome. Expansion chambers, stingers and silencers are in excellent shape. 400 shipped.
