  1. You should ask BenBB or check out his wiring FAQ it has a diagram, and wire it up to high beam, I belive the wire from the voltage regulator runs all the lights so you might be able to run right off of that with a switch.
  2. a better rider? dunno what your talkin about, haven't been beaten yet!
  3. Yea, I've purchased 2 savers form c_rossman, they are really nice and inexpensive!!!!
  4. Check needle and seat for crud in there, check petcock screen, and jetting.
  5. Wet sand down to 400 grit, then polish with a tri-poli compound ( the orange color), then bling, you can polish anything aluminum.
  6. Rockymountain is the cheapest for kenda's!!
  7. Awww yes picks!! genius! the little tools sent from the Banshee gods themselves!, just keep your hand over the clips or they'll do the dissapearing act
  8. no affense superchicken but a light flywheel dosn't work that way. A lighter flywheel has less rotating mass so you have less paracitic loss, the engine turns the flywheel so at lets say 8000rpm how much power is lost with a stock flywheel, now lighten it say 8oz. thats 1/2 a lb! thats a huge diff. at that rpm and the engine can spin more freely. It's pretty much the same a lighter pistons, drive gears tires, etc. they all save power by rudceing rotating mass. The only disadvantage with a light flywheel is the rpm drop when the clutch is engaged or when your takin off you gotta rev it a little more.
  9. +4 degrees safe and a noticable improvement, works well with thw light flywheel.
  10. The only way to know is to take it to the dyno!, or a drag strip and with the accurate weight, et and mph you can work it out mathimaticaly.
  11. wisecos or vitos power pistons (made by wiseco) they are a little lighter wich makes a big differance @ 8000rpm, make sure you hone enough clearence for the forged piston due to expansion. I also suggest go the minnimum so you have more rebuilds for the future, even if you went .080 over you wouldn't gain anything. Also remember .020 over dosn't make it a 370, and compression is always compensated by the manufactuer with the dome of the piston so nomatter what size you go it remains the same compression dictated by you cyl. head.
  12. If anyone is interested or just wondering here are the ratios for the RZ350 & Banshee tranny's. RZ350: 1st= 36/14 (2.571) 2nd= 32/18 (1.778) 3rd= 29/22 (1.318) 4th= 26/24 (1.083) 5th= 25/26 (0.962) 6th= 24/27 (0.889) Banshee: 1st= 32/13 (2.461) 2nd= 29/16 (1.812) 3rd= 27/18 (1.500) 4th= 25/20 (1.250) 5th= 23/22 (1.045) 6th= 21/24 (0.875) I have an RZ gear cluster to trade or sell if interested pm me.
  13. Ok heres the ratios: RZ350: 1st= 36/14 (2.571) 2nd= 32/18 (1.778) 3rd= 29/22 (1.318) 4th= 26/24 (1.083) 5th= 25/26 (0.962) 6th= 24/27 (0.889) Banshee: 1st= 32/13 (2.461) 2nd= 29/16 (1.812) 3rd= 27/18 (1.500) 4th= 25/20 (1.250) 5th= 23/22 (1.045) 6th= 21/24 (0.875)
  14. nope, no pics yet, there still in the case, I'll try and find the ratio specs, they'd be great with a high hp motor or if you do a lot of drags / dunes, where I live its alot of tight trails and no dunes , 1st and 2nd gear are just spaced apart a little more from what I can tell riding the RZ, after 3rd it all seems to feel the same. I'll get back to ya.
  15. Nope...its more like .080 over (1mm=.0393") so .020 would = 1/2mm
  16. I have mine wired in repacement of the stock on-off switch, never been a problem
  17. Where do you get these?, can you get it online?
  18. Flywheel puller is always handy, approx 12$ , a good torqe wrench (a MUST!) 60-100$,piston ring compresser 15$, metric allen keys 15$, silicone, oil, anti-seize,& loc-tite 20$. Other than that lots of light, tunes and beer!, oh ya a service manual helps. I don't suggest doing your own honing, its not expensive.
  19. Your compression loss is due to the expansion of the matirials when the engine is warm. If your gonna go with new pistons (which I think you should) then go oversize if you go with the smallest oversize you won't have to bore it just have them honed. I'd take it to a local shop to have the jugs checked out properly with a dial bore guage, this will tell you how far you need to go with the honing. If your running forged pistons stick with around .003-.004" worth of clearence.
  20. Will sell 84 RZ350 gears (gear cluster) or trade for stock banshee gears, B.O. takes 'em
  21. How much U askin for the seal kit??
  22. Looking to trade 84 RZ350 tranny gear cluster (for drag or high HP application) for a stock banshee gear cluster.
  23. If you want powervalves look into a set on RZ350 jugs, but you'll also need the stator, cdi, pV servo and PV controller. I'll tell ya, its like having a powerband ontop of a powerband!
  24. I bored my carbs to 27.5mm, then had to mod the slide, move the needle, tinker with idle and tune. So if you ask me...... bore carbs+70$, tors eliminator+50, set-up BS+100 =220$, 30mm flat slide off ebay 250$ wich is an extra 30 bucks for carbs that are hihger perf, and won't have a sticky throttle in moist/wet conditions.
