  1. I'm looking for a Banshee model, slot car, r/c whatever, just not that one with the unusually large wheels, have that one already. Thanx PM me
  2. if you go to a speed shop you can get A B epoxy thats like playdoe, its made buy a company called MOROSO, the stuff is brutal strong and machineable, I've used it on v8 engines, trannys, intakes, etc. it lasts for years.
  3. the plugs may look fine but it dosn't take much to melt down a slug, .030 +4 deg of timing your running borderline on pump gas, if you've gone .035 that could do it detonation is hard to hear on a 2-stroke and it aint gonna ping forever.
  4. make sure your sub-frame isn't slightly tweeked?
  5. lime green or floressant lime green depending on the year
  6. as long as its not a special sauce....lol
  7. what about it?.....just another story book that would cut into my riding time....NO THANX!!!!!
  8. I guess my RZ swap is out of the question...powervalves are for losers!...what was I thinkin LOL I think I'll just rejet instead! I can just picture this dyno...an old cigar box with a timing light, a tach, a recycled speedometer from a 60's dodge and a calculater (one those ones with the "memory" button)! ...."yep it reads 90hp".......lol
  9. "where world religion has a suicidal theme youll find more demons in gods than youll find on these corrupted streets "bold statements from a liar?" your beliefs are broken, so danger, hide or retreat in god we will contradict now let the truth be released of untold tales and mistruths bring forth the whole world to see that your manmade faith and your contagious "steepled casino"cult is just a lie "Five Pointe 0- Freedom?"
  10. THIS GUY IS A TOOL!!!!
  11. Befor I ripped apart the Rz I bought for the engine, I took it for a ride in the parking lot in the rain and the carbs stuck just like my banshee's just not as severe, I think the RZ airbox helps prevent it, if you've ever seen on it would make you giggle at the obstical corse to the carbs. I think someone needs to try 2 right side carbs w/o choke and see? Oh ya, the rz carbs are also fed oil via the pump.
  12. YES!!
  13. I've got the sets from "biker chicks unlimited", I think they were 22.00 for the complete set, They seemed to just as good as stock no issues upon reassembaly! I even got a set for my buddies shee, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. The same rand also came with a weisco piston kit my other buddy purchased.
  14. Looks like its got lots of extras, real nice for 1000 Check all your bushings and bearings, give it a good clean and tune up.
  15. The best way to prep parts is with sand or glass beading, this ensures you get all the nooks and crannys then use some "brake & parts cleaner to make sure there free of oils and make them super clean, then use a "self etching" primer, this is specific for bare metal parts then you can spray whatever you want on top, I usually use an epoxy base farm tractor and implement paint this stuff is rediculisly durable for a spray balm paint. Otherwise you can use automotive acylic enamel wich is a on step paint (after primer) or a base/clear automotive finish but that requiers some equip. and more money, but the color choices are naerly limitless.
  16. That's awsome! Don't worry after he fix's that problem the frame will be junk! LOL
  17. the luber works the same but I take the tops off the carbs or lube will get in there.
  18. Renthal fat bars off ebay, or any mx bend on my +1 1/2 stem, not to picky!
  19. I've had great feedback for the mostpart from this site and alot of "newbies" are very helpful and as time progresses the newbie will end up the oldschoolers and like everyone said b4 the cycle will continue. thats why this site exists, for information young or old if it were closed to a bunch of "old schoolers" it wouldn't last very long! Besides I may be a Newbie to this site but in life I work 50hrs a weak, run a small biz, pay my mortgage, car, bills ,etc. and support a family and the banshee comes last! opinions are what make us indaviduals and we've all had differant experinces that brought us were we are today, and given that we are all on this site sharing what we love best the Yamaha Banshee! Come to think about it I never whant to be an "old schooler" I picture those guys lonley and pastey LOL!
  20. It might be that the timing is to retarded otherwise its a carb/jetting issue. Put a fresh set of plugs then see what they look like?
  21. +4 is perfect but it won't make you 20hp mabee 3? not enough for seat of the pants feel but its there!
  22. you'll have to cc your head to know for sure!
