  1. If its a rapping noise its probably rod bearings, If its more of a hollow sound its prolly main bearings, oil pumps don't make any noise other than a wine sometimes. Lifters make a ticking sound but and can sometimes "pump up" after the engine has run for a while and smoothen out, but if thats the case then the lifters are toast and need to be replaced. If you ask me (and I build these things for a living) it sounds like bottom end noise and any further driving will do more harm than good. I think your dad is lookin at a rebuild. Be thankful its a 350 chev and not some $1,000,000 dollar nissan twin cam vvt, dfi sst fu2 v6 rebuild!....in otherwords there pretty cheap to rebuild
  2. Thats a solid lookin home fab setup, I think if you go to sandbros.com they have pics of the sundahl frame with the mad wheel travel, they have a spacer on to of the spindle...just a thought.
  3. If I leave the gas on, 1 kick, if it was off....LOTS
  4. I like the "stripper" , and ya I'm with you, getting sick of the backflips!
  5. That means they're toast!, time to replace them.
  6. Pivot works
  7. I used to do this as a side biz, the polishing is sumwhat fun, but the sanding SUCKS!!. Glad to hear it though, enjoy it befor the novalty wears off
  8. I can't see an acctual O2 sensor working on a 2 stroke, thats why when a car burns oil you have to relace them., so if it did work it only would for a shot time.
  9. So if you had a gun and there is a guy accross the river sooting, would you stop and get out your firearm and shoot back?, are you prepared to suffer the consiquences if you kill him?, same goes for any of these situations, are you just a little crazier than the other guy to pull the triggure?. A close family friend whos a cop used to always tell me that if your going to carry a wepon, you better be prepared to use it, once you pull that puppy out there is no turning back. What if its just some stupid guy that mistaken the property for his own and you go and shoot him and it turns out he's the state atorney's nefew and has a family of 5 and volinteers at the local womens shelter etc. etc. bla bla bla, then where will you be?, someones bitch in a state penatentury thats where! I never ride by myself for this reason or if I should crash.
  10. It would appear that way, I don't know how long there gonna last if thats the case?
  11. Very cool, I think I'm gonna give this a try, I just hope TDR shipps to Canada. You should try and post those posts from planet sand.
  12. Sounds to me that when you think the slides are in backwards they're acctually not.
  13. DID X-ring w/ sunstars 15/41 mostly trail & love it.
  14. I think there more of a gimmik, this is the radiators job, not only that, an engine has to make heat in order to make power and visa versa. Cooler is not always better!
  15. Like some of the others suggested, spend the money on the chassis and suspention, even if you only put pipes on the engine it will haul ass around the track once you get the suspension dialed in!
  16. Thats funny!, I'm totally using that one! Maybee a stok length swinger would do the trick, a -2 would make it a mad wheely machine. You can make a lot of power with just the 350cc, maybee run a long rod and some CPI inframes, but no matter what it will come down to porting!
  17. Why is that? Factory Yammy pistons are cast, don't buy these!, Wiseco pistons are forged and have a thicker ring for longer life. With a forged piston you will have to run a 3-4 thou. clearance. The numura pistons move the port window to change where the powerband comes in, I belive they are also forged. I don't know about those German ebay pistons, look a little sketchy to me? and I don't think you will see a power differance between pistons unless the windows or domes are altered, Wiseco uses oem dome heights. I would go with the Wisecos, they have been doing it a long time and are readily available!
  18. I find the FMF fatty's to be a good all round pipe, the SST's although more expensive keep the powerband low without sacrificing top end. Remember the twin 2 stroke is not a torque monster but instead a screamer so you best let it breath to make some power. Having said that search ebay and see what you see, really any pipe is better than stock
  19. 22cc is equivellent to stock, you can get away with pump gas down to 19's If you wanna stay on the safe side run 20's and advance your timing 4 deg. w/ a light flywheel it makes for a really nice trail setup. The domes don't come to suit differant bores, the piston is altered to correct the compression ratio. .030 is like 2 fingernails thick, so it dosn't have much affect on the sealing surface of the head.
  20. Initally I was going to buy those instead of the fullflights, only because I'm not keen on all the heim joints. All in all they look to be a decent product, you can also email past buyers through their feedback forum and ask they're opinion.
  21. in other words, opposite the picture, but it will work either way.
  22. Such a waste, and the whole bike seems to sit awkwerd? and a little high? dosn't look safe if you ask me. big peice of poooo!
  23. My riding buddy just got his full flights last week and they look pretty decent but the PC (if it is even PC) is pretty poo, but the fact that they are so much thicker, and better quality material then stock makes them tough enough for most of us riders, I recently got my lonestar arms from MIAMIRIDER and they are a very nice peice I just wish they had grease zerks on the lowers!
  24. Wouldn't have siphoned it self out, there is no hose in the case, the fitting is flush with the inside. Prolly just overfilled it or its leaking elseware.
  25. super secret hiding places "ALFA 1".... ....freedom isn't free, no theres a hefty fuckin fee, and if we don't pich in our buck 'o five who will. freedom only costs a buck 'o five. "I love your balls!" Best fukin movie ever!!!!!!
