  1. i would check your coolent level could have blown a head gasket or o-ring and when they do that they are hard to start and want very good at all. i think it has somthing to do with antifreeze not being combustible
  2. if you have compression comming out of your overflow bottle you deffinitly have a blown o-ring or head gasket.
  3. if you run 24:1 instead of 32:1 that will be richer more oil as opposed to some guys running 40:1 or even 50:1 is leaner you got it backwards.

  6. i have some big bore powervalved trex cylinders i am trying to get rid of or possibly trade. how about my complete trex 400cc engine.everything but pipes and carbs.

  9. thanks man this had stock pilot and a 270 main with a gnarly pipe and no lid. what is the stock size main? is 270 too lean?

  13. i know this is a banshee website but i am sure there is someone on here who can help me. i am rebuilding a blaster for a guy that has been sitting in the barn for 5 years. anyway it needs new jets where is a starting point for a blaster that is bored 40 over with an fmf gnarly pipe and silencer with the airbox lid off. both pilot and main would be appriciative. thanks

  18. a buddy of mine races at pikes peak his name is mike ell (or elle) not sure but i am pretty sure he got 16th on his banshee.

  20. i am selling a set of trex cylinders, they are still at stock bore(68mm),and port for the cylinders. They do not need bored and they come with a used set of pistons. a brand new set of rings and everything needed to bolt it on.cylinders,head,domes(8.5cc and12cc),billet intakes, reeds and reed cages. the cylinders do have powervalves which give you the lowend right off the bottom. they run pretty good but with a port job will really get you screaming. the fastest i have went in330 feet in dirt with a 4inch swinger 17/41 gearing(too high)and my 300 pound seat was a 5.4 second run. not sure on the asking price just give me a reasonable offer and we will see what we can do. thanks, Thomas
  21. yeh it was me iwas going to meet ya but i couldn't catch up to your bike your bike really flies stclark it was a pretty good trip overall even though my banshee blew up. but i hopefully will getting it back together with some old pistons for this weekends drags.
  22. has it got a cool head on it if so one of your oring may have a pin hole in it causing it to burn a little water which will cause a bogg as well.
