  6. Ya. It's well known that certain street bike fibers (including FZR 1000) are the way to go because of the extra contact area but the manufacturer material is whats key.Don't know what Jeffs getting but they aren't OEM Yamaha. Don't really care anyway. Jeff's a great guy with excellent service/prices.
  7. Hey there Jeffrey! Been a while. Happy Holidays to you. Saw my name mentioned in your post and thought I'd add my nutswingin' .02 to the topic for the new guy's. We've (my family) bracket raced 1/4 mile asphalt Banshee's since 2005. Having done serious track testing over the years with a number of brands and compositions in our multi-stage lockups I can say that the Fast fibers and steels are excellent and all I'll run now. There are cheaper choices but you usually get what you pay for.... Link to an old youtube video someone posted of me. I'm at 4:52 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebG3qMelLak
  8. I've got a brand new set (One - 1/8 mile pass) of M/T 19x8x10 Jr Dragster slicks on new Douglas Blue Label rims. I'm not giving them away but if your looking for a hell of a deal on new PM me. 9. I think it was 18's Bryan (Candy right)?
  10. Good question Surfrjag. Assuming all is good there... I've raced 1/4 mile asphalt for years and know from ET slips exactly what my bike will do. I also install new pistons and rings at the beginning of each new season. With freshly nikasiled cylinders I prefer to start on the tight side (.012) on my 68mm cubs but have been as high as .016 and not seen an ET difference or felt any performance was lost. Turbo and nitrous guys run larger gaps like DDU said.. Don't waste your money on buying more rings just because your a little wider than you'd like.
  11. If they don't leak don't mess with them!
  12. Once to the top before I just pack it away..Very heavy duty design.
  13. Brand new still in the package. HD Terrycable $25.00 shipped in the US only.
  14. Plug locks should NEVER be needed. They are one of the worst things ever offered for sale.

  17. I've got 8 full C-clips that I got from FAST Racing and never used. They replace the half clip on the crank bearing and can also be used on the output shaft bearing (sprocket side). They sell for $5.00 each - I'll take $20.00 shipped in the US for all
  18. 2 for $15.00 shipped in the US only
  19. Clam shell style snowmobile trailer - It's worked great for us. Very light (aluminum) Tilts to load/unload. I had an aluminum box put in behind the bikes that holds two fuel jugs and two milk crates of track stuff and we're working on a sunshade attached off the back.
  20. We have an eyebolt in the trailer floor at each end of the bike. Rachet straps from the front to each footpeg and one that wraps around the base of the rear strut to the back eyebolt. We've clocked over 6900 miles with that setup. Our wheelie bars are bungeed under the bikes between the eyebolts also.
  21. to my knowledge those clips are a must! i wouldnt even think about puting 2gether a motor without them. if ur goin 4mil i wud suggest getting the FULL c clips from jeff at fast. Its a larger clip that secures the bearing alot better than the half clip. Idk how ur old motor survived so lng without them, lol. ** I have 5 or 6 of the full C clips (brand new) if anyones interested. Shoot me a PM **
  22. .015 (not .012) Cub cylinder base gaskets made by Cometic 2 for $18.50 shipped in the US only
  23. Paypal gift for eccentric bolt sent..Thanks ** Oct 12 update ** Resent payment to your corrected paypal
  24. Run that thing! It passes the ldt and will be fine. Save the new crank for a needed rebuild later or new project.
