Nice set of ported stock cages done by Lynn @ LC Performance Like new TDR epoxy reeds with less than 40 nitrous passes on them. Also includes 2nd set of TDR reeds never out of the package and 4 new gaskets. $145.00 shipped in the lower 48 only.

Us asphalt racers have the luxury of a very consistent surface and narrow operating range and it's still a chore staying on top of the multi-stage tuning. With so many variables and condition changes, settings that work great on Saturday might not be worth a shit come Sunday. Especially if you change tracks! My opinion tricked... In what your looking for I think you'd end up frustrated as hell. That said-They are easier to adjust than a sling shot. I do like the idea of a snowmobile style clutch lol. Tuning one is really in the realm of black magic to me but they would be a great thing for not only what you're looking for but also for the consistency I need in bracket racing.

I've found the Noss Machine chart to be very close http://www.nossmachine.com/banshee_heads.htm
-
What head do you have? Pro Design domes fit most aftermarket heads. I thought 24 was stock. Personally I wouldn't go below 22cc at 700ft with pump high test.
-
You're definetly asking for trouble with 20cc domes at 700ft on pump gas. It's not worth destroying your fresh rebuild over is it?
-
You're pretty lean. This is what you want. The ring is actually shade darker than the picture looks. Don't pay any attention to the yellow tint. Thats an oxygenated fuel characteristic. Keep in mind that plug chops (done correctly) focus on the main circuit.

I've read Greyhound is a good way to ship large items like that.

No disrespect ment in my post. The point was that there are to many that believe they (the PR's) hold all the cards when that just isn't the case.
-
When it comes to the PR guys I can't freakin believe how quickly some rollover to the notion that they're gods. Need a good kick in the nuts to bring you back to earth! The belief that they have it all together is in your damn heads. I love going up against someone who believes they're the underdog even before the pre stage lights come on lol. What a great feeling knowing you've got the upper hand because the guy next to you has totally lost his composure. I don't have a problem giving credit were it's due. Some terrific numbers have been laid down by those guys but there's no difference between us and them. The USA also has some damn good racers. Some days it all comes together other days not...

Cross dressing buddy!! WTF I like how you buried that little dig in the post f'er - No one's safe from your pot stirring! No problem I know how you really feel... Seriously, I expected 6.20's in Michigan and that would have easily covered a Hoopty Camaro heads up 1/8 mile race but as it turned out I wasn't close all weekend. With the numbers we'd layed down throughout I felt heads up racing was fair and that the outcome would pretty much be decided at the tree. It was not to be. A .20+ margin is a mile in bracket racing. Usually W/L are decided by MUCH smaller decimals! It was a good race and you beat me fair and square (and badly). This time Next years races and bet with ATV's and the new motors will be interesting for sure. Congrats on the win buddy. See you in Sin City.

Sadly I'd have to agree. Can't do anything about the age but can the weight. I was a lean 165 for years until age 40+ but don't think I'll ever see that again. At 50 I hit a high of 225 and couldn't stand myself so I worked hard and lost 40. I usually pack on 10 tax time pounds and lose it during the summer but this year I've been bad and haven't taken care of myself. I'll be in the upper 180's by my Dec cruise and am determined not to go above 190 this tax season so a 180 goal for early race season 2014 won't be hard to obtain. My downfall is pizza, pasta and beer damn it!

Clean the cases with carb or brake cleaner and make sure their good and dry then put it in a new seal without any sealer. I agree that the vents need to be checked.

Sprocket Specialists Still Stink
Tedder replied to 04GsxrBanshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I went down the same road with their shit on a special order for a rear sprocket once. Paid a premium for it only to have the tips of the teeth started curling over after 6 passes on my asphalt bike. The thing was soft as aluminum foil. Called, Sent a note with pictures etc - Got no where with them....NEVER again have I used or recommended their crap. -
Still got this

Looking for a set with the heavy duty (thick) rubber boots like Vitos used.
-
Don't think it's my place to say what his times were. Does it matter? He was running with the 3 fastest cars there but bracket racing is way more than being the fastest.
-
Is what it is.... He's taken a lot of shit over comments about his 30 years of drag racing experience but bottom line is he is very very good. Big dollar sponcors don't hire guy's that only think you need to know how to stomp the petal to the floor.
