  1. Pro mod trans and misc shift mods.
  2. Not a bad track. Needs a bit of water, but looks decent.
  3. That's why it'll start out as a banshee pan. I'm pretty sure I'll just cut one up see how it feels, then lay foam on it and send it out to get covered. I think it'll end up way smaller then a Zilla seat, but a touch bigger then the 450 seat. I was thinking of just doing it with a regular 450 seat, but I rode an R and a few Suzuki LTR's with the taper out back and like the way it feels.
  4. Watch out. You might be purdy 'nuff to a drunken Canuck.
  5. Yep, I'll do a build thread when it warms up.
  6. Looks good.
  7. Just my inspiration... I should just be doing a hybrid, but last season I committed to setting a stock frame on Kill at a unicorn level. I pulled the trigger on a bunch of new parts so there's no going back. As far as the seat, it's getting a new sub frame and the pipes will be hand made any way, so I decided to try a different seat. It'll be a banshee pan with the middle narrowed, and about an inch of foam added on each rear corner to make ears like what the YFZ-R 450 has. It's just a cut up frame and box of chromoly right now. Just a few more odds and ends to get here and then it's off to Southside Motorsports. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Just looking for rears only. May consider a whole set of its mint, but I really need a black full bore rear set or Raptor style rear in any condition as long as it's not bent or cracked. I can restore scratches and scuffs.
  9. What kind of riding?
  10. Photos of anything questionable.
  11. Do you have a cell phone? You can take a photo and use an app called tapatalk to post the photo. Then you pull the carb bowl off, there are two jets very visible. One 1/4" hex shaped brass jet with a single hole is your main. With yours having reeds and no other mods you would want yours to be around a 270 main. The little flat head jet sunk down in to a straw type passage in front of that is your pilot. You say yours is a 25. That's stock. You have reeds and if it were me I'd throw in a 27.5. Just one size up. If it makes the plugs wet or runs blubbery, drop it back to stock 27.5.
  12. $250-300 and your core, depending on who is doing it. Cam at Redline, Camatv, and Tyson do a ton of them with good reviews.
  13. Yahtzee! I start Q16 in -20* without a hit from the Ether Bunny, and it baffles me watching some fellas trying to get shit to light.
  14. Lots of JJH needles in the 28's. The CEL, CGL, DG# needles are usually in the bigger 34mm PJ's and 35mm PWK's.
  15. Over ride is for clutch less drag racing and typically don't fair well in regular riding. What you want is a Pro Mod trans. Full 6 speed. Just a few things reworked in effort to get the ol dinosaur to shift like butter.
  16. Pull the head. Use a rubber mallet to tap the piston. Just Tap! Any hard force can snap the ring lands or crown edge of the piston off. If you and get it free, but new rings and hone the cylinders. Spark, is it just weak or non existent?
  17. What's the ground like where the coil mounts?
  18. The newer style vitos seem pretty stout. I'd imagine Brad still feels the short rod stuff revs faster.
