  1. ^ It's alive! Hope you are doing well and keeping it together sir.
  2. Big bore domes. What size Pistons you running.
  3. Regular o rings, but certain hardware stores won't have them.
  4. If you are confident in your fab skills, then I agree with every Tom, Dick, & Harry ^above. Build a swing arm. Either way you're welding the same amount. The roundhouse parts are way straighter then any OEM carrier ever stays. If you can handle the swinger, there are also sub frame kits out there.
  5. Whatever you buy, make sure the dome's are correct for your motor. If you aren't physically measuring to be sure, you are doing it wrong. Also, if the big O-rings around the cylinder bore aren't Viton, they are garbage.
  6. Rezzy caps, gas cap, shifter, stator support, misc brackets, front motor mounts, etc... Pretty much any Billit part on my current bike I'm making a CF doppelgänger for my new chassis.
  7. There are Carbon fiber wheels out there already other then the Hipers. The problem is they need to have material thick enough to hold up to abuse. Even the ones I've seen on JR dragsters still weigh more then a typical aluminum wheel from Douglas. The Hipers are just friggin heavy as all hell.
  8. Carbon Race Parts is doing a stem for me. I'll keep you posted how it turns out. They are running them on shifter carts and pulling over a full G on turns with slicks, so they are somewhat durable. Not sure if I'd Moto cross one though.
  9. That's the plan. I have a few parts manufacturers willing to run their program on stock I send in. Either way, I'm doing my bike.
  10. Maybe the drag racers will be in to this. I have finally located a manufacturer who can produce Carbon Fiber ingets at an affordable rate. Ultra Carbon specializes in some of the baddest and most well crafted carbon fiber products in racing. I am looking for guys willing to split up a bulk order of Carbon Fiber for a far better rate. The plan is to replace virtually any Billit aluminum part with an identical Carbon Fiber part. Rezzy covers, shock rezzy mounts, bar clamps, water pump covers, etc., all by this winter. Ultra Carbon has qouted me $8.00-$14.00 a cubic inch. The more volume the closer to the $8.00 price it will be. Before any one complains, companies like Dragon Plate and Rock West Composites are selling 1.25"x12"x24" slabs for thousands. Ultra Carbon can make any thickness stock needed to machine the custom parts you may have been dreaming about. Anybody interested in getting in on this before I order?
  11. Whitbread said he was gonna build a set for his EFI T-Rex. See if money would motivate him.
  12. I'd suggest calling Driveline, FAST, or Redline.

  14. FZR1000. With companies like FAST and Driveline producing and selling beefier clutches, there is zero need to go chasing down OEM FZR components at top dollar.
  15. Toss a little in and dial the timing back to zero. Maybe jump up a size or two on the main. Give it a few cycles of throttle and go through the gears nice and easy. If all is well, give it a pass at wide open throttle. Once you're sure the plugs look ok, throw 4* of timing at it.
  16. You of all people should know you get what you pay for. What's all this "Expensive" talk?
  17. No rears yet.... I ordered a nose though.
  18. Check o ring on the heater pipe that the cover slides on.
  19. ^those or hunt down nice used IMS heel guards.
  20. Alky and these are typically motors with massive ports that the Pistons could use a little bit of extra protection when sliding past them.
