    The piston will come out like that on a 4mm crank without a spacer plate. You measured how far they come out before ordering domes, right? Either way do a simple squish test after installing domes.

    With pipes and pod filters, the stock pilot should not be lean. I would suspect there is some sort of issue. Filters cleaned since you bought it? Not mixing synthetic oil at 32:1? Smoke on a two stroke doesn't automatically mean it's rich, but your photos of the plugs seem pretty soaked.

    No, you should NOT be leaner. How do you know you are rich on the bottom end? With even your basic mods that motor SHOULD want more then the stock 25 pilot.

    27.5 pilot minimum. Most times when I am tuning stock carbs the bike seems happier with a fatter 30 pilot and a touch leaner needle adjustment.

    Moving the clip all the way up is lowering the needle which makes it leaner. Pilot is idle to about 1/4 throttle Needle is transition from about 1/4-3/4 throttle Main is 3/4 to wide open throttle.

    Yes same adjustment principal applies, however the actual alpha/numerical identification marks will not be the same.

    Depends which Napa. I've got a few local ones and there is a fella by me building very very nice stuff. I've seen him port heads on a 10 second Vette. He builds bitchin diesel stuff as well.
