  1. Probably. It's possible it might just be a retouch. Worst case would be to add Tig weld or epoxy to some stuff that doesn't line up.
  2. Worth a shot. May be able to see it in the bottom. I'll bet it's been sheared off in one of the transfers.
  3. Gotta look on the drag racer sites.
  4. Take it apart. Get a baby of ziploc bags and boxes and take lots of photos on your bike. They are really not bad to do and don't need much for tools. Its just a couple hours. Your buddy is a doofus, but you should be able to do a squish test through a spark plug hole. When you cut it off you need to file the end in to a nice smooth end. Bend it in to an L and fit it against the edge of the dome where the squish band profile meets the bore. It has to be there before you roll it over.
  5. Those lights clash with that bumper. I'll take it off your hands...
  6. That^. If I'm in a pinch, simple green ain't bad. Just takes more effort. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yes. Cheetah..... Just Cheetah, is pretty much a cub cyl with power valves and 250r intakes. Cheetah Cheetah cub Serval cub Wampus cub Wampus serval (wampus cyls are meant to look stock) Super (means 72mm bore in any of the above combos) DM (74mm-80mm ish) DMX (80+ mm) Then you get the real monsters Jmadd mentioned which are all spread bore and even larger bores then the DMX. Spread bore means the cylinders are located further apart then stock. That allows them to make the transfers larger to feed the larger motors.
  8. Yes, or find a good fabricator.
  9. Fresh Sunoco ain't Bad.
  10. If that bike is not burning fuel from a 25 pilot, there are issues.
  11. Shearer makes stingers to order specifically for airbox comparability. The standard ones will not work without lots of cussing and modification.
  12. If money is the issue, go driveline. Bill and Lane are stellar fellas and will set you up right and help you sort out any issues you may encounter. When buying from EBay, make sure they are reputable sellers with an actual shop. Some of our sponsors do sell on EBay so it might make some sense to call a few direct. Many of the people selling the stuff in your photo are just drop shipping and making their cut, and will not be able to weld your crank, port cylinders, make domes, or help you sort out issues. Remember saving $100 bucks can mean the difference between a runner and a dawg.
  13. Serval cub is set up for trails/dunes (more low to mid)Cheetah cub is more dune/drag/hill (more mid to top)
  14. Google piston wash. In over 500 photos, I did not find one example of a piston that cleans in the center and carbons up perfectly in the band. That's fucky IMO.
  15. Yep. Should just be standard style domes. Yours just have one little tit that aligns the dome, correct? Just make sure you are ordering big bore domes if you are running a 68mm piston.
  16. If it's to good to be true....
  17. Yes! Mines a Rockwell, but the scraper is tits on rubber.
  18. I'd start with getting a regular woodruff key. I'd assume you have a basic set up and that 8 degrees timing is a bit to much. Just to be sure, what are the motor mods and what fuel are you running?
  19. What's goin on or not going on there?
  20. Meh, I'd be more concerned about how it is clean in the actual combustion chamber, but building up carbon around the squish profile.
