  1. I'm looking for an OEM YFZ steering stem to mock up a chassis and figure out how much taller then stock I will need to order the new Ti stem.
  2. Yeah, I would spray paint chassis parts before trying to polish them.
  3. Master Formula metal gloss polish followed with their sealer. I ran a set of raw steel pipes on my ice bike for a couple seasons with no rust.
  4. http://www.psipowerinc.com/banshee.htm No clue if this dude is still around. But their Genesis cylinder sure looks like a cheetah.
  5. Teuché. Just sent him a text.
  6. I've got a DC stator I wanna send to another member, but I wanna make sure it at least a tests good before I send it out. Should I be ohm testing it the same way you would a stock stator?
  7. 28mm or 33mm PWK's if it's tight twisty stuff. If you get wide open a lot, some 35mm pwk's.
  8. Straight cuts aren't needed till you start knocking on the 100+ hp.
  9. You do not need an override to run a lock up.
  10. Get it ported now while it's apart. You can always bolt on different carbs and pipes later. As far as the lock up, probably not totally needed yet. Definitely look in to getting the transmission done though.
  11. My buddy bought some of their leather covers for his new Sierra. They were like $200, but worth it.
  12. For something like that, look in to the Iggee stuff.
  13. I ordered the Deluth Trading Co. covers a few days ago after seeing them in an F350. They seem nice. I'll try to remember to post the results.
  14. Stay away from Carhart! They are actually pretty chincy. No where near as nice as their work gear.
  15. 10mil super serval. I was about to do a stock frame and be done but let my self be talked in to a full chromoly frame so it's become a waiting game.
  16. If the shock is worn enough to make a new bump stop necassary, it's time for a rebuild anyway.
  17. Crank is welded? If your fuel is good, +7 is about as high as I'd go.
  18. yes different sleeve.
  19. Never ran my Dyna on a dyno yet. I just take it to the track and feed it timing till it starts to get Un happy, then I back it off a degree or so. Not sure I wanna test the new 10 mil like that though.
  20. I friggin love my Dyna! It's nice to make it freight train through tight stuff and out of the turn, but on the 1/2 mile course you can pull timing out and really let it rev.
  21. Yessir
  22. Test the Pick Up per Clymer Manual Spec. When using a stock CDI set timing plate to zero and work up. If you have the Dyna on, make sure that if there is a plate on as well that it is zero if the CDI is adding timing. Or take notice of what is on the plate then program the Dyna accordingly. The Dynas can be finicky if you are not 100% sure what kind of timing it's throwing.
  23. If you're looking to have it built, have whomever does the cylinders do the whole thing. It's the best way to ensure the highest quality. Jeff and Cody build great motors and have a pretty damn good reputation. If you do the Assassins, both Bill and Lane at Driveline are great guys with tons of experience. Either way, ya can't go wrong.
  24. Any update on what the LED's made on this yet? Once the frame gets here, I'm ready to send it all out to Arlan. Just wanna be sure.
