  1. 120+ for stock style stuff.
  2. Definitely 2's! Awesome reeds, get fresh pedals and reassemble them with a small dab of blue LOCTITE on the screws.
  3. The work is definitely just some Joe in his own garage. Although not pretty its not bad. Looks like he just tried to clean a few things up and knife edge the intakes and transfer tunnels. Good news, they aren't to far gone at all. You can definitely have a builder re work them if ever needed.
  4. Definitely agree with that. I just noticed GRR is Back in the game and now a site sponsor and it is their pipe for sure. But in the end, that is where the rocket design came from. So pretty damn close.
  5. Those appear to be one of the few sets of out of frame original rockets
  6. Holy thread mining! Boss = JUNK! Jeff at Fast has a good manifold, Chariot also has good stuff. Plus I'm always messing with my carbs in the cold and the FAST set up is fine. No leaks!
  7. That's one helluva functioning alcoholic!
  8. Smoking weed out of aluminum is probably toxic, just a thought......
  9. A serval on pump fuel makes what a not so reliable high strung race gas stock cylinder does. I feel like if you had more cylinder life you should do a ported 4 mil, but since your cylinders are done any way, a new aftermarket monoblock is in order. As far as the 4 mil, they are pretty friggin stout if you buy a quality crank. Definitely start reading up on the 421 serval set ups. There are guys keeping them on the more torquey side with smaller carbs and low end pipes, yet there are guys letting them breathe with bigger inframe pipes, carbs and port work.
  10. Have you even tried to see if the float is adjusted properly? Sometimes the little tab that the needle and seat connect to with the wire clip tend to come out of alignment. If it is it could be letting the float sit at the wrong height which lets the needle and seat keep flowing fuel
  11. Transmission work! Kevin can do a stock cut for ya
  12. TDR can help you with a TRex if you end up with any problems. I think he already knows how to deal with international shipping as well
  13. Looking to test out some power jets or even something like the Holtzman altitude and temperature compensation unit that a lot of snowmobile guys use. What power jets are you guys using that are reliable and holding adjustment. Looking at the Clipards, DMR, or maybe the Thunder Jet
  14. My new build is gonna be pretty similar. Been doing a ton of research on the 450 chassis and swaping the banshee motor. Once I get working steady again I'm starting the new motor and chassis for next season. What is the motor combo and who did it? As far as your tranny issues. Did you do any work at all to it? You should definitely at least have some type of stock cut. I have been toying the idea of even doing a 1-3 over ride to get the hole shot. Keep us updated!
  15. Go for it! Our AMA season is so fucked here I'm not sure if there will even be nationals. I really hope we can put something together
  16. OP, get us a pic of the shock or better yet, take it off and measure the eye to eye length. Are there any bushings in the bolt holes? The R6 shocks aren't to bad for flat track if you swap the coil. But as is, they are pretty sweet for drag racing. The shorter length keeps the bike from sitting super ass up on longer swing arms. The longer swingers help put more leverage on the shock so that it acts softer in a sense
  17. Saw this thing run at Phil's, and it is a friggin beast! Might have a video of it at home. If I have time I'll put it up.
  18. Kick ass. Tell them to get some more video up
  19. As jereme stated, winter riding requires jetting changes. Yeah it rode fine for a short while, but sooner or later it won't. And you found that point where it doesn't.
