  1. Also, be careful when getting to the bottom of the travel so you don't crank the shock beyond it's limit.
  2. try compressing it with a beefy ratchet strap
  3. Best way. That's how I did my FMF's. I looked last night at a bunch of different universal two stroke silencer parts and pieces. Tons of cool ideas out there. In the end, I bet there would be a pretty decent market for guys to start turning new end caps for the common brands and adding the little cone sparkys to them. There is even USFS approved screw in arrestors now.
  4. Of course it is, if you're Jason Statham, and there's a brief case of mind control drugs on that train.......
  5. Look in my signature. See who initially set up my motor. I'll tell you it was pretty beast. But it came with shenanigans. Honestly, go elsewhere.
  6. Get it geared so that it's coming out of the hole pretty effortlessly. Maybe just a cunt hair away from a bog. Then use the clutch to dial it in further. This thing does have a lock up right? Perfect example, I put together a 4mm stock cyl that should of definitely hammered on just about average trail bike and some of the hot raptors at the track. Took my TT set up out to the drag strip to dial it in for the holeshot. Immediately the -2 swinger was a problem in trying to get the jump on actual drag bikes. The front just went to 12 o clock. So after getting the jetting right and after countless ridicule from loosing to Rappy97 and even after a buddy got smoked by a blaster on my bike. It NEEDED control out of the hole. We messed with gearing to take it up and I really found the sweet spot where it almost bogged. From there I started messing with the springs on my clutch so that it was a touch less aggressive on initial lock up. Then I backed the weight off by switching a few balls in the slingshot to titanium over the stock steel ones. Two passes in and it was only hanging the wheels about a foot off the ground and really motivating forward. From there it took real drag bikes to take out my little ol -2 swinger TT bike. Kinda fun.
  7. Honest question, how many times have you been asked outright for your entire set up by some joe who honestly thinks he can take your specs and apply them to a totally different set up and expect it to work?
  8. With this being a 2/1 carb if imagine you might be pretty close if you find a PE1 needle that N2O just mentioned. Reason being, many of the 2/1 set ups wind up with the same needles you would use on a bike that has 2 carbs on alky. Not saying it'll be perfect, but it could be in the ball park.
  9. Either use JDS Roto Pax fuel jug and bumper or a big ol Clark tank.
  10. So, You're THAT guy! Haha, I hear that. I made a pair that looked so fucking sweet for my old FMFs. They looked like FMF designed them. I wonder if the fella who bought those pipes just pitched the caps
  11. Clamp on sparkys will get you through the hoops at the dunes for cheap
  12. They most definitely do like the exhaust to have a ridiculous duration. Short of upper 190's and you will notice a definite flat top end on them. Been thinking of messing with the stinger diameter to see if that can be fudged around or if it will also allow for use on motors with a bit more displacement. 17. App Store. Download tap talk. Tap on tap talk icon, search banshee hq, sign in, go to this post, reply, in the reply load a photo off your phone gallery. Is this 500 ft dirt, or actual 1/8 mile on asphalt? There are a few variables that could be making the motor just go flat up top. Timing, compression, exhaust, head/dome design.
  18. Ok, when you put it like that
  19. ^ interpretation skills = 5/10

  21. Moto build. Then put a long swinger on it if it helps cater to a sale
  22. ^ this guy is correct
  23. That's not a bad tab to replace. It probably should be done in a thicker material the next go though. X2 on what dude said about the longer bolt.
