  1. The crank won't have to come to the states if you an fine some one that is capable of checking phase and run out. If they are capable of doing that, they have probably welded on a crank. Just start calling every shop you can find in AUS. Otherwise, it would probably be easier to just have Jeff set you up with a new one.
  2. That's definitely a quirky set up so it'll stand out.
  3. Billit block off plate is cheap.
  4. Kryptonite chain lock. Last year I posted on this. Some fucks used a cordless grinder to blow through the lock on the door. But when they got in they tried to grind the kryptonite lock and got no where. It's anchored to the concrete.
  5. Wise decision. Are those single ring wóssners?
  6. -Have that hot rods crank welded. -Get that head re chambered, if it's a cool head, have domes made by whoever ports it. -reeds -quality filter set up - maybe an upgrade in carbs, but stockers are fine for what you're doing. -go through the bottom end and make sure Everything on the clutch side is fresh. -seriously consider a trans and at a minimum basic shift mods.
  7. Buffed with the softest Asian lady pubes. Looks good.
  8. Yahtzee^
  9. Really my favorite, not accepted by the local DNR though. God it sounds sweet though.
  10. Aren't you lost. You're close if totally backward counts.
  11. Porting is the equivalent of putting good heads and a cam on a LS based car/truck motor. The gains are well worth it and will put you in front of any bolt on bike, granted you set it up correct. It takes a total package to really get the full benefits.
  12. Improper bore from the get go? Intake leak at filter to carb, or carb to manifold. Dirty fuel, dirty petcock.
  13. There you have it. No less then 2k if it's clean and fresh.
  14. List mods in EXTREME DETAIL. Anything that will help guys identify it's yours not just any other cub. Right now I know of at least 7-8 cubs for sale locally. So it's important to make sure people have a way of knowing it's definitely yours.
  15. Yep, happens a lot. You can fix it with a float adjustment.
  16. Ya, if you can find his stuff used and in good condition, BUY IT NOW. But to attempt to pick up anything new from him would be futile. Again, just another prime example of what happens to talented people who just can't seem to give a fuck.
  17. Happens with a lot of different set ups. You just have to be creative with turning them and possibly cut some. The one coming off the water pump. Try spinning it clockwise a quater turn. If not, trim an inch off the end and see if it puts the bend behind the hose.
  18. Good ol fashioned R13 insulation is pretty commonly used to repack. I used the fire retardent insulation (rock wool) on my Shearers and Rockets. It's an awesome sound and seemed to hold up pretty well. http://www.rockwool.co.uk/why+rockwool-c7-/4+in+1/fire+resistance
  19. They can not be changed. I would find like new condition arms or aftermarkets to put the bike back together with.
  20. You can get a little more fuel in the bowls that way but you flirt with having excess run out the over flow. In all reality, you're probably more then fine just swapping the main jet. It takes a bit more motor to start sucking bowls dry. If you do find your self out flowing the bowl, you can actually get Billit bowls from Driveline Performance for a great price.
  21. Can't hurt to soak in caustic degreaser before baking and and washing again. Then follow it with a simple pre heat before welding. Possum touched on the beveling of the cracks. That's wise if you haven't mastered tig with minimal filler.
