  1. New tires or hella bead glue and install the tire clocked at a slightly different degree so the holes in the rubber are behind metal, and holes in the rim are backed with rubber.
  2. Turns out that brown slag has been molten glass! Not junk in the aluminum.... Pita!
  3. For sure. Especially the 4's
  4. Totally worth it. Especially on that cub. If you can find some cheap 2's with nice pedals. But if you have to buy them for over $75-100 and buy new petals, I would just get the 4's. That cub will appreciate it.
  5. There was a photo posted of what he asked for, and a photo of what he got. The two are different.... Does nobody see that? Whatever..... He paid his advertising, so till he actually doesn't send a motor to someone that paid, all is well. Thumbs up!
  6. Just so it's clear, the consensus from both of said individuals, is that this thing is barely a clean up with a touch of exhaust work.... The casting texture is still visible in the transfers.... No way that is a "Drag Port" look at other photos of HJR's stuff that is "Drag Ported". To people saying not to flame a builder.... In his original post, there is no name mentioned. Some one asked and then it was mentioned. It's a sticky situation, because if you feel something isn't right, you need to confirm your suspicions before even calling a builder to tell them something is not quite right. How do you do that? By asking others more knowledgable. That's the intent of the post. As mentioned by two people who are pretty well versed in that department, that is not quite what it was supposed to be. On another note. This is not the first HJR slip. Just because someone pays to be a sponsor doesn't mean that they don't need be held accountable just because the work wasn't for one of the fellas in the IN CROWD. Anyone remember how the Passion train detailed.......
  7. Haha, I'll pass. I've got enough engine parts laying around here. Shoot them to Carl or Cam.
  8. Looks killer.
  9. I've seen pics of other ported HJR Cubs that were "Drag Ported", and they were way way more detailed then what you got there. I see a couple tweaks, but nothing major. Those cubs really don't need much, but yours IMO barely look cleaned up for the most part. Transfers appear untouched.... Don't worry about knife edging all the intake stuff.
  10. I know an AR guy that sends a lot of parts out for Cryo.
  11. Keep looking on all the social media, all Craig's list, Ebay, classifieds here. They pop up, but they ain't cheap.
  12. Check all connections, all grounds, and test electrical components per clymer specs. Don't have a clymer manual? Get one...
  13. It kind of depends on the set up. A motor with a couple bolt ons, it's doubtful you'd notice.
  14. It's a double edged sword. Builders always seem to to be under the gun which takes the fun out.
  15. 240main Needle one clip richer 27.5 pilot
  16. Big money baller BHP!
  17. Simple proof, I've been checking piston skirts for collapse. Nearly non existent when checking motors at the same intervals as before.
  18. Zilla is on point with most of his post. Albeit, I did see some HP gain on my big bore stock cyl 4mm motor. Only a couple ponies though. It isnot about making horse power, it is about creating reliability That dude Joe Molinari keeps barking off that it will double the life of this or that, but that is nonsense. I have seen great results though and have been Cryo treating parts for about 6 years now and I will continue to do so. As I am also a proponent of engine coatings, I would suggest doing your Cryo treatment through Mach Modified. They can Micro Polish, Cryo Treat, and also do a slick coating on parts that benefit from it. (ISO blue, Slick Blue, Turbo Blue, etc.) http://www.machmodified.com/micro-polishing/ Look at 300below.com for some cool stuff that it can benefit. But do not go through them. Yes they were one of the original companies offering the process, but they have qouted me twice and fucked with the price both times and it was a shit show.
  19. Can you reserve a lot with the power and water amenities and still put up a tent? Or are they camper only?
  20. Round house is mandatory. If everything is squared up, check pivot bearings and carrier bearings. Last but not least. You can use tire air pressure to make it all work.
