  1. Well, that's insulting.
  2. This is honestly the first I've heard of any MT issue with the 4's. I've done a set on honda, KTM and quite a few banshees
  3. Holy mint! That thing is gorgeous.
  4. Thank you.... Any one out there got a set of 102mm they're willing to part with?
  5. Just curious if anybody has a set of Mattoon cases set up for big bearing and 10mm stroke.
  6. For sure. For me I would love the over rev on big 1/2 mile ovals, but my inframe shearers start to get heat soaked after about 5 laps on big tracks. I would love to try a big bore pipe to see if it would resist that a bit and if it was that close in performance I would totally settle for a little earlier curve and couple less peak. It's only a 4mm though so not quite apples to apples.
  7. Friggin eh! Interesting results with the big bore vs. Small bore. Being a fella that hot laps, that is an important factor. Wondering how well something with say a 194ish exhaust and lots of transfer work and proper domes would run with some CPI's.
  8. You call the folks who have provided results.
  9. Get on E2S and see what Thack built. If you must have an air box, that's the way to do it if you're not willing to fabricate.
  10. Ohh, this just got interesting.....
  11. Some say a dab of blue LOCTITE helps. I've never had a problem with out it. It can be a pain in the ass if you don't have a wrench that gets on and around the nut. Size the phillips screw driver really well because you don't want that stripping. The pressure plate is east. There is a dot on the hub and one on the plate. Line them up.
  12. Check the adjuster on the pressure plate, also look at the pressure plate and verify that it is clocked properly.
  13. Haven't heard to much from him lately, but none the less that guy knows his shit!
  14. Most of that has been addressed in earlier posts. No way in hell ordering a raw cub is less then 375 though.
  15. Oh yeah, you're gonna wanna ditch that 2/1 for sure. You're gonna be mostly running Mid to Wide open for that kind of riding. If it were me, I'd put the 2/1 and pro circuits up for sale and see if you can save up the difference to go back to duals. For pipes, look for something like CPI's, Rockets, Shearers, or Snipers.
  16. It's been one pathetic attempt after another to assert himself as knowledgable.
  17. I sense that this thread was only started because you expected to see carving all over the place and wanted to verify that you weren't ripped off. Quit worrying and get it together and run it. It should run like a beast sir.
  18. I've only seen the inside of one serval that was definitely done by a reputable shop. There really wasn't much done to get it to really shine. Transfers were just barely tweaked as was the exhaust. Everything else was just kinda cleaned up and chamfered. They are casted so damn well from the get go they really don't need much work. They aren't like stock cyls where you see guys working every nook an cranny.
  19. Anyone here for long enough knows CAMATV is the guy to talk to about chain tightening.
  20. Everything there is a decent package except that 2/1 intake. If you go back to even stock carbs, I bet you would see a bit of a gain bottom to top. You could probably even find another PWK for cheap and run duals and upgrade exhaust later down the road. If you must make it work, make sure you have an EEK needle. The mid range on 2/1 set ups can be a pain in the ass to tune and if you happen to currently have any DEG, DEK, CGL, CEL, etc. You are gonna be hard pressed to get it to run crisp. Start at 178 main Needle on middle clip 62 pilot
  21. Ok, so my lady is finally on board with carrying as she is usually the one closing the pharmacy late at night. Even though it's in the nice town of Birmingham, the bank next door gets a robbery 1 or 2 times a year. IMO, it's only a matter of time till someone comes thinking they will hit a lick on the drugs. We have already settled on S&W's M&P Shield. Last thought is Caliber? .40 or 9mm? What are your fellas thoughts? She shot both and has no preference. I'm curious about availability, round quality, etc.

  23. ^ that! Or you have something way Fuckey goin' on and it needs to be unfucked ASAP.
  24. Definitely not the "Jetting" section on a banshee forum.... Maybe look for an image on google and instead hitting View Image, click on the Visit Page link. If you're lucky it'll take you to a page where someone is showing photos and naming parts and numbers.
