  1. Any bolts/nuts/caliper bolts pre-drilled for safety wire?
  2. My Chariot Super Duty head fits tight and has to be perfectly aligned before it drops down with a push. No issues at all. If your motor is stock, consider spending the money elsewhere.
  3. Cheers! Nikon D90 with Nikkor AF-S 18-55mm
  4. Washed the bike the other day and thought I'd snap a few pics. I've had this red & silver CF pattern radiator shroud on my bike for 2 years now. Admittedly a radiator shroud is not exactly the hardest working part on a banshee, but my bike is dedicated to cross country work and this shroud has seen its fair share of roost, rocks and mud. The red and silver combo does look pinkish on a pc monitor, but I just wanted to point out that the durability of the part is more than adequate for its intended use. Thanks JD. JD also sent me this replacement stainless cover plate for the mattoon lock-up side cover. Dimension control is excellent and the holes line up with the side cover perfectly, no matter how the cover was indexed.
  5. I have a set of GRR cylinders; bike runs hard!
  6. Been there.. Use the phone to set-up the field of view (and/or control the camera if you like) and the wifi remote to control the camera on the fly. Edit: stay away from the Scandisc Ultra Cards http://www.goprofanatics.com/gopro-hd-hero3/3374-unless-you-want-problems-dont-use-32gb-sandisk-ultra-chips.html http://www.goprofanatics.com/gopro-hd-hero3/4009-gopro-no-longer-recommends-sandisk-ultra.html
  7. No, what's closer to the truth is that the Hero3 White shares the same 5MP sensor as the HeroHD and the Hero3 Silver shares the same 11MP sensor as the Hero2. All three Hero3 models are smaller then the earlier Hero models and come with WiFi built in as standard. The Hero3 models also use micro SD cards.
  8. I have a Hero 3 White, didn't buy the Black because of some freezing issues reported. Consensus on the Gopro forums is that the write speed of the GoPro recommended Scandisc Ultra Micro SD cards is insufficient, especially when using 'Protune' combined with a 64Gb card. I'm using a Scandisc Ultra 36Gb card, and on 720P I can record for 2 hours on a fresh battery. (It does split up the recording into sections though, but these can be spliced seamlessly with the free CineForm software on the Gopro site) Haven't used the Hero 3 on the banshee yet, only SCUBA and skateboarding. I would use the closed door on the banshee to reduce wind noise. Overall I'm very happy; I bought the Hero 3 based on my good experience with the original GoPro and all the mounts that I already have. The new firmware update and the updated app lets you view, control and record straight to your phone, pretty cool. My bud has a Contour +2 with GPS, awesome little camera, the software shows track and speed when you play back, plus it doesn't look like a toaster on your head.
  9. I just let mine 'self clearance' as seen in this old pic below.
  10. That thing's gonna be nuts. Looks like you're throwing some nice parts at it! is this going to be a coal hill climber?
  11. If you think 120 is a lot for bars and you only ride occasionally then Flexx bars are not for you.
  12. Turning the crank 90Deg as in a longitudinal crank config??? You must mean change the firing order so that one cylinder fires within 90 deg of the next. 1) It was claimed that the rocking couple would be much less, the claims were all bs though. 2) Big bang theory as in road racing bikes, apparently improved traction in turns when the tire contact patch was at its minimum. You are correct though, 80 hp vibrator... And some big ignition changes required to make it run
  13. whoa! Thanks for that stink. I almost got suckered into the 90 Deg crank deal, just didn't have enough budget to cover the ignition changes.
  14. They did have some innovative ideas a couple of years back. I had a discussion with them about their 90degree firing order 4mm cranks and the required ignition set-up to run it and they appeared convincing. Their website is not as expansive as what it used to be, maybe things are not going well for them anymore...
  15. Depends on what your idea of what 'low end' is. Go look in the dyno room, you won't find any chart that starts below 3000RPM... 'Low end' and 'banshee' should not be used in the same sentence.
  16. Fatty's or PC's Sorry to tell you that there is no such thing as low end in the Banshee world
  17. 795 as advertised they sure look good, but they did start to turn blue after awhile. Bike is not lean
  18. here they are in nickel as supplied by SRP
  19. Sensor in the coolant line
  20. Awesomeness Decon Here's my much simpler VJ cover, thanks Jeff
