  1. What do the plugs look like? Fouled, or clean and dry? Also...does this oil resemble premix (oil and gas) or gear oil (thicker...and a non-gas smell to it)
  2. I say leave it. I think you're a hair rich, but...is it really worth being at the ragged edge of lean/rich? When it gets warmer, maybe in the 80's and 90's, throw a 320 in there. But....I'd say you're damn near spot on. I tend to jet buddies bikes a hair rich as well....cause most of them will not take the time to pull plugs and look. So...I like to err on the side of safe for their machines.
  3. Jeff @ FAST, Jim @ Passion, Cascade.... Any of them are pretty close to the other.... See who treats you the best, best price...and who can get 'em to you quickest!!
  4. Alrighty.... I can't believe I'm saying this...but can we just put an end to this thread already? We're not gaining any ground, no one is learning a thing here...now we're going on and on about car racing, in one area...for a certain few brand new members. Let the other members here get the attention they deserve...and please put this thread to rest. OJ...I'm done. Nothing more to say...I've said my piece over and over again. it would be nice if the car talk/groups/races went back to their perspective forum. OR... Start a new thread in the off topic section. Either or...I think you all can agree this is not the right place to be carrying on about this shit.
  5. A&S, Grand River and RDZ are all in MI. But because they're top names, they often have top waiting time...etc. Tell you what....do this. PM machwon on here. His name is Bob, and he's R&B racing..he's just outside of Saginaw. real nice guy, honest, and does pretty good work real, REAL cheap. I rode a bike he ported at Silver Lake last year (davem06's bike) and I was impresses with how well it run. now...did Dave have a dragster, no...not by any means. But he had a respectable bike that was fun to ride, and he got the work done very, very cheap. Hit Bob up...see what he says....and good luck. I know in your PM you said you were close to me...but, Frasier? shit...we're neighbors, I'm in St. Clair Shores....
  6. Fair enough....I retract my statement above.
  7. What's your point? Did I say they can't run 8's and 9's? srt mentioned a 12 second car, right? Then he said nothing in the ATV world will run with what I've got. Right? It takes a lot more money to run 8s and 9s, but...as you already said, it can be done. My point is 10s and 11s are rather easily attained....and will beat a 12 second ride... Don't read more into that than just what I said.... Mike Goodale went 3.11's in a 300ft sand drag....and is the record holder. Any street racers accomplish that?
  8. No...I'm quite sure tyler didn't miss that. In fact...he was in that thread. I am not the be all, know all tuner of the 21st century. However, I didn't have a bunch of car guys come on this site and tell me what an ass hole I am either....that would be you. I'm also 100% positive I can tune a bike better than you. No ifs, ands or buts about it. I know you are trying hard to save face here, but it simply isn't going to happen. The only guys that are in the ball park of agreeing with you are car guys...about cars. And they even said you don't know shit about atvs. Period. So...keep trying.... It's past 9:30...I can see mom and dad let you stay up a little later tonight, that's cool...we all need some more wit and knowledge you bring oh so much of to this and any other site.
  9. Let me assure you if you're only running in the 12's with a car, there are a TON of banshees that will beat that all day long. Drag banshees can come in at 260 lbs or so, w/out the rider. Easily pushing 120 on a small motor, to 160hp on big motors. Do the math, and it's not that hard to realize 10 second and low 11 second drag banshees are common... Now...will one of ojstools bike run there, no. But...you specifically said anything in the ATV department...so, that's wrong.
  10. Unfortunately, I don't even think that would shut his punk ass up...to bad.
  11. Is that what you've come down to? You're that pathetic...you have to argue like a little bitch on a banshee forum cause the car forum guys think you're an ass clown too? Do us ALL a favor...keep your car shit on the car forums...period. Either post a banshee dyno run, or STFU.
  12. That is exactly my point...EXACTLY. He doesn't know shit about banshees, period. This is a banshee site. Period. every time he starts off a BANSHEE Post, and someone tells him he's full of shit...boom, right back into car this, car that mode. Proving all of our point of he doesn't know shit about tuning a banshee.... He may or may not know what he's talking about when it comes to cars. I could give a flying shit less if he does. Post that in a CAR forum, NOT here. I got out of the car game a long time ago before I had more points than I knew what to do with, and an insurance premium higher than the gross national debt. Call me a chicken, call me stupid....but, I like to go fast. And getting caught for drag racing by the cops never, EVER turns out cheap or worthwhile...period. I'm not even sick and tired of his dumb ass. It's entertainment. He's got a car forum guy bashing him now on a banshee site. Even better yet.... And then he cries about his bruised ego, he's a Christian, against his belief to hold grudges, etc.... Complete pussy...period. Cry baby pussy at that. We all already knew he doesn't know squat about banshees...or he'd actually finish off or come to a conclusion on one of the many threads he started. Furthermore, he even got his panties in such a bunch that he dug up threads from mid to late last year....so, I already know I got the best of him....and he knows it too. He can play it off all he wants, but him crying "come down and see me...I already posted where I live" just proves to everyone he hit his breaking point. Face it OJ...you are my bitch. I own your sorry ass. Go back with your tail between your legs to your car forums...they seem to think you know a thing or two. WE ALL already know you don't know shit on this site.
  13. Wow... I didn't know they made Cobra Banshees. Didn't know they had pulleys on them either....this is a banshee dyno thread, isn't it? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha..... You can either: a. Keep trying to defend your "car guy wanna be" status on a car forum, and keep it out of here, or b. Keep on running your mouth. Just when I thought you couldn't look like any more of a dipshit....you continue to amaze me. I'll at least give you that.... The views are really gonna jump up now....we ALL need a good laugh... ha ha ha ha....
  14. This thread just got some teeth...this is great. It's pretty sad to be you, when even car guys are coming on a banshee site to bag on your sorry ass. Ding Ding Ding....let's get it on.... HA HA HA HA HA....
  15. Ha ha ha ha....even better. The "Master" tuner. The guy who always errs on the side of caution. That is great, SRT....
  16. Ha ha ha ha....figures, you've run your mouth and pissed off others on other forums too. This is the shock of the decade....NOT. :shoothead: He's becoming quite infamous for being a real dipshit here quickly too.... The whole point is...all he ever does is talk about tuning a banshee, talk about dynos, talk about a bunch of shit but in the end, no results. NONE. About the only thing he's good for is slight amusement at best, and killing time at work... He's already proven he doesn't know shit about tuning a two stroke atv...period. And...the last time I checked, this was bansheehq. He can babble all he wants, no one here gives him one bit of credibility....
  17. If you win will you promise to borrow me your wideband sensor and help me tune my bike? Pretty please, pretty please? That would be so cool....hell, it'd be ojcool....the coolest....
  18. Anybody with a welder can make the same pipe. All this guy did was cut the expansion chamber, flip it around...and reweld it so the stinger tube was pointing out instead of in towards the frame/seat.... I haven't welded in a few years, and I know for a fact I could do better than that. Any one want to send me a cheap set of old inframe pipes, DG, PC....any old junk you have laying around...I can do the same thing. I also saw a guy with T5's heat up the head pipe, bend them out....and bolt them to the footpegs without silencers.... Ghetto too, but...at least he didn't cut them, turn them 180 degrees...and reweld them back on.
  19. Maybe 320 main...only because it's cold there too. Probably settle in for a 290 or 300 in the summer, depending on how much the porting was cleaned up. If you are less than .5 turns out on the air screw to get it to idle smoothly and respond off idle...get the next bigger pilot. I'd say you're close...if not a hair rich with that jetting. Normally a 4 degree advance doesn't require a rejet, once in a while a bump one size....
  20. Damn...Rod... PM Minkia38, see if he still has my +6 I gave to him with my roller/package deal. I saw it on ebay, but it was taken off before the auction ended. Not sure if he sold it locally or not... I have a +6 stainless brake line I will GIVE to YOU, and only you...for the cost of shipping....if you need it. Probably 5 to 8 bucks to ship. Let me know.... It'll fit a +6 stock carrier or a +8 roundhouse if you HAVE to go that route.
  21. How does that bike start and run off idle? In addition to the above suggestions, might have to bump the pilot, as well. If you're gonna be riding dunes and wide open trails, removing the airbox to compliment the dune port might not be a bad idea...either.
  22. He's still got an air box with no lid and porting. I'd say 320 to start... If he had K&N Pods with NO airbox, 350 is a good starting point with porting... Actually...I would ask whoever ported your cylinders what jetting to start at...they should know how/where their porting likes fuel.
  23. What's a Pipe Clamp on??? I missed that one. 35 to 39's are usually what a true drag ported cylinder run good on. I agree....when you drag port the cylinder, you really need a bit more compression to get it to run right. That being said....48 to 50 pilot should be ballpark, changing the pilot won't cure your boggy response after 1/8 throttle. Keep in mind, if it's truly a drag port, you're not going to have any bottom, hardly any mid...then it's gonna come on like a lightswitch at probably 7K rpm till 10 or 10.5K RPM. Drag porting has no bottom and hardly any middle. And you really need to check compression....you're probably in the 150 range with .020...and you want to be in the 175 to 190 range with drag porting.
  24. If you're looking to clean the bike up, and have the cash....I recommend the intakes with a crossover built in. They are not only trick looking, but they clean up that area for ease of maintenance quite well... MajicMike sells a nice set of intakes on here for a very reasonable price....with the built in crossover.
  25. I'd rather start a collection to buy this guy a clue. As said, all these jetting questions....yet he's an expert on dyno and wideband 02 sensor tuning. Hmmm....who's doing the searching on the internet here?? However, Kai.... I just found out yesterday I'm getting a Lonestar drag axle, that runs a Honda style sprocket hub. So...that means I can run like a 35 or 36 rear sprocket....gearing for the 1/4 mile baby!!! I already said I'd make the trip down there, if he's gonna come up here too. Or...we could meet 1/2 way. That's more than fair....
