Here's really the bottom line. Do you want to play and dune or do you want to drag?
-
Yes....how much top end you feel you can afford to sacrifice is up to you.... Will pickup bottom though. However...it depends on how aggressive your porting is...it might like a dual carb setup better all around.

Poor Bob...he he he...

Sudco or modquad...? As said above... www.sudco.com Click on Products. Click on rubber flanges. You can go from there.

His email address is his screen name. Try that. -
I've got two shaved XCR holeshots with 1 inch ice picks in them if you want to cover all your bases....LOL
-
Kinda what I was thinking...especially with a slipping clutch and bad jetting. Unless you're geared like a mofo, no way 4th gear is hitting over 70ish.... Congrats on the wins.

The expansion chamber seems a little large to be DG....IMO. I think I see cone welds there too... YFZ....are you interested in some FMF pipes? PM Jankab....

Oh yeah?? Well I'm the master of the 12 ounce curl.... I'm 6' and 250ish myself...damn office job!!!

Ok...I got some rates. Both places are having deals since it's early in the season. Sierra Sands: For Wednesday AND Thursday night, single room, TWO Queen size beds. 97.00 for Wed. and Thurs. Night, 107.00 for Friday and Saturday night. These are out the door, all taxes and fees included prices. Dunes Waterfront resort: (She didn't specify if taxes and fees are included, sorry...) Same thing, single room, 2 Queen Size beds. They are running a buy one night get the next free at waterfront. Waterfront room: 122.00 for Wed. and Thursday 147.00 for Fri. and Saturday. For a Parking Lot Side room: 112.00 for Wed. and Thursday 132.00 for Fri. and Saturday. For the price, I can tell you I'll be getting parking lot rooms at Dunes resort. with two guys to a room, it boils down to a little more than 40 bucks a night....compared to 25 a night per man in Sierra.... That extra few bucks is nice being that much closer to the dunes, and the beer/hotub!!!

We usually stay at Sierra Sands (It's sad when Marilyn and Bob know my voice....but, they're really nice folks there) However, I'd like to stay at the Dunes Waterfront, especially since they have buy one night, get one night free in April. I'm gonna price check each, see what they can do.... I figured I'd have more "collective bargaining" power if we have a pretty decent group. Sierra Sands is kinda quiet place. A group of about 15 or so of us went early last year, and we were in the parking lot of waterfront, cooking on the BBQ, etc....and having sodas, of course...LOL. NO issues there!! I'll get some rate info up ASAP.

Trying to get together a group for Silver Lake. A bunch of us will be there in April from the 18th to the 22nd. I know badassbanshee479 and his crew are in, rriggs will probably make an appearance.... Not sure of the hotel situation yet, trying to get a number for our groups going...trying to get some group rates if possible. There's a hotel real, real close to the dunes with a huge pool and a big 15 to 20 man hot tub. A day at the dunes and a few cold beers in the hot tub is hard to beat any way you look at it. C'mon down!!!

Precisely why I went from a 4 mil on gas to a 10 mil with a cut frame on alky. Seems to be easier for the motor to get bigger and the frame to get lighter than myself...LOL...
-
Yep, no need to hide a bong in your banshee if you got a boost bottle.... :yelrotflmao:

In 4 strokes it's ok. I just don't like having to measure, etc., for two strokes. I know Klotz makes octane booster...that's a name I'd trust if I had to use them. I know you're in Austraila...but, have you google searched for race gas availability down there... Hell...Chad Reed is an Aussie...he had to get race gas at one time or another... (J/K...I'm sure it was shipped to him in a gold drum... )

Well...I wouldn't call myself any smarter for reading any of this...but after all the back and forth BS....this came out of left field and I laughed out loud at work. Yeah, I look like the retard now... Oh well. When ever a politic or religion debate comes along, someone's gonna end up all pissed off. You think they've been fighting in the middle east for thousands of years because they could solve their problems on a forum??? Case in point. Mark's always good to throw a one liner in there from left field that makes me laugh....needed that one today...thanks buddy. I've read some of Brooke's posts, some I haven't. I don't have an opinion...don't really care one way or the other. However, I will say this...you all know I'm on the tech forums more than anything, and I will give her credit for keeping the social BS in the social BS forums...so, if that's a compliment to you Brooke....there you go.

If you don't get your swingarm let me know. I've got a guy in Ferndale with a shop that makes very nice arms. Can make them with lightweight chromoly for drag, or thicker tubing for duning if you'd like. Tig Welded and bare... Good pricing.... Neighborhood of 315 or 325 shipped, but...if you wanted to pick it up, I'm sure he'd take some $$ off. Here's some pics of his work

Actually....95-96 are the most rare ( I know...cause I have one)... 87 to 94 was the same and 97 to current are the same. I don't know you and you're a newer member here ....so...here's what I'm willing to do for you. Part honesty/trust, part money up front. I have a used 96 stock CDI I keep as a spare ( I run an aftermarket Dyna Ignition) If you want to paypal me 50 dollars, I will send it to you via Fed Ex...to use as a test to see if it's the problem. When you're done...simply send it back...and I will credit you the money back (minus my cost to ship to you, probably 7 to 10 bucks)... If that sounds fair to you, let me know. I'm sorry to ask for a deposit, but as said...you're new here. If you'd like, have a senior member here vouch for you, and I'll send it to you for the cost of shipping only...on the preface that it will be sent back within a reasonable time frame (week or two) once you test it and see if that's the culprit. You can ask around here, I'm not a BSer and I don't pull any punches.... Just let me know...it's sitting in the bottom of my tool box at home. If you can...please post a pic of the wire ends to make sure you'd be getting the correct one to test.... Dave

I liked it Mr. Penguin.... I just had to read up to make sure this guy thought two cylinders bored to .030 meant adding 60cc's...2003 hit the nail on the head though, was thinking what I was thinking. Chris....for real easy reference, here's a piston kit link to Magic Racing. It will tell you what bore size will give you what size displacement boring will do. Unless you're going to put a "Big Bore" kit in....just get the next biggest size to freshen up the motor, you'd be wasting a bore otherwise. Hope this helps... http://www.magicracing.com/Wiseco-Piston-K..._p_133-135.html

Two words for ya buddy... BITE ME :yelrotflmao:

Not sure about you guys....but, managed to wake up to an inch of snow covering the ground... Gotta love Michigan.
-
You guys totally lost me at Sadnvik.... If you look even closer, you will see the company firehead works for spelled backwards on the valve cover...

I think he just wants the rubber boots, not the whole intake. pm majicmike, see what he can do for you...

I bought a complete front bumper to rear bumper stainless set off ebay for about 95 bucks shipped. They come with everything except the upper control arm bolts, foot peg bolts and swingarm pivot bolts. I got three kits, two banshee and one YFZ kit, so the guy cut me a deal, 280 shipped. But the kit from fastener guy is about 100 bucks shipped...for everything. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-BANS...098329957QQrdZ1

No offense...Travis...but that's good to know. I think you and I are both on the heavy hitter's list...
