  1. 42 to 48 pilot is the norm....should be ok with that. I ran a 48 in my 35PWKs in my 4 mil cub, was still a hair rich....but safe!
  2. Actually...this is a GREAT price as well. Doesn't say polished...but, can't have your cake....and...well, you know. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=76043#
  3. PM MajicMike. I got mine from him, built in crossover tube and boots for the 39's I'll be running on meth this year. They are very nice!
  4. 110 is low, adding domes will only make that motor wear faster. My advice is get a fresh top end.... Or...if the pistons and cylinder are within spec, at least re-ring and hone it. Should be upwards of 120PSI on a fresh, oem port build/head...at or near sea level.
  5. There is no where in MI above 1000 feet. Average is 500 to 1000....even at Silver Lake. 145PSI with 22 cc domes is AWESOME. I'd go +4...just keep an eye on your spark plugs and listen to your motor....should be ok with 96, might have to bump it to 100.
  6. No shit...you and JT gonna book rooms at the lake front hotel with us? That hottub and beers sure is nice after a day at the dunes!!! B...you guys get your bike figured out yet?
  7. And for Christmas...Santa, I'd like a red ryder BB gun and a Radio Flyer Wagon. Sorry....but for that price, you're either gonna find one trashed and bent to hell...or you won't find one at all. Polished, on top of that....no way Jose.... Just keeping it real.... Good luck. You might be able to find one on flea bay for 150 bucks or so.....doubt it will be polished.
  8. You guys must have much, much different sand up by you....Snop. Piped shees here run 7 to 8 at most paddles. Once you start digging in the motor and putting the swingarm out....then 9 and 10 come into play. Any banshee with pipes only, stock swinger and 10 paddles is a mofo out of the hole, but dies at half track trying to pull 'em.
  9. Get rid of the TORS, get rid of the airbox. Makes things much, much easier to work on...and it will run better with PODS. It won't set your hair on fire or be anything to write home to mom about...but, it will be a significant increase... Couple it up with a cheap 35 dollar timing plate...and you'll be real happy. Mud isn't as big of a deal as long as you have outerwears... Water...yeah, that's a problem!! baddshee...where did he say Shearers? Did I miss something??
  10. A. tighten the chain B. Just ride that Raptor.... LOL...just kidding...Austin. Also...so everyone knows, the frame was powder coated. He scratched off the powder where the coil mounts. He has ONLY a CR style pushbutton (2 wire) kill switch for it...two different coils, and he swapped the CDI. He also stripped the lights out of the harness. I think it's the stator when it gets hot...or a bad ground. What 'chall think?
  11. Ride her hard...put her away wet....LOL... It's early, we got all year!!! Probably Memorial weekend then 4th of July!
  12. Here's all you need. And...he's correct. 20 oz to 5 gallons is 32:1 http://www.geistware.com/rcmodeling/glowpo..._calculator.htm
  13. I'd be pulling the jets. If the bike is 100% bone stock, as in stock pipes, air filter, air box, etc....it's probably rich due to your elevation unless your dealer rejetted it. (sometimes they do, sometimes not. I'd pull one main jet to see what is in there. I'd say you're more than safe. Mix up a tank at 32:1...if it's still black on the plugs, remove the snorkel to help it breath a tad and lean out the jetting a tad. I bet that would just about set you up perfect!!!
  14. You know....you could have just jumped on here and peddled some junk, instead you were 100% honest and up front. Kudos for you for being a man and doing the right thing for everyone, Duner!!! Too bad there aren't more like you on the site!!
  15. 280 or 290...same bike...same mods.
  16. Two problems. One...you're typing in caps. You know you can turn them on and off. Two...your attitude. I was asking, no need to be a jack ass. Good luck with the sale...
  17. Torco and CAM2. I used the stuff at the Amaco by me last year in my cub. Not a single issue...110 octane, 4.99 a gallon.
  18. How did you powdercoat the AArms and not trash the ball joints? Far as I know...that can't be done...
  19. The dirtwheels article probably means HP at the crank...otherwise it's off. Stock they are low to mid 30s. With all the bolt ons, 45ish... I'd say you're probably 65 to 70...as said, depending on how good your porting is.
  20. Well...the stars must be aligned for you today. lethaface only wants the thumb and brake cover.... So, the clutch cover is yours if you want it. I'm not buying the kit until next week off ebay...so, if you don't mind, I'll let you know when I have it in my hands, will send you a PM with paypal or money order address....and will get it to you. Sound fair??
  21. Let me get the goods first, and to be honest....I'd rather sell it all as a whole. That being said...probably 20 bucks shipped...if no one wants the 3 pieces together...
  22. While I'm not a big fan of turbo blue....at 10 bucks a gallon for Klotz, I'd be a true believer in the blue...sheesh.
  23. D'oh....looks like I need to learn to read.... I'm gonna ask ojcool if he's done with his hooked on phonics, volume 2 yet....maybe I could borrow them... Sorry...had to... I think his name is whitey on here, he's been playing with an FI turbo....pretty cool project, not sure if he's done yet.
  24. I'm looking to buy a billet kit off ebay to dress my bike up. I don't have a stock thumb throttle, I don't have front brakes, and I'm running a lockup clutch so....the stock insert does me no good. I'm picking up this kit next week. Anyone have any interest in the clutch cover insert, throttle cap and front brake billet cap? Say....40 bucks shipped? I'll include all bolts, as well... Let me know!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Bans...093624592QQrdZ1
  25. Look in the images section, I have a post about my new 10 mil build. 3rd or 4th page is a phone number for the powder coater I used, he's in Ionia/Greenville area. Great work, cheap prices....good people. Plus, you can look at the pics in my build...and see the quality...oh, hell...here you go. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=73990 Page 4, post 54....there you go!!
