And it very well could be that they don't make 68mm pistons with the offset pin. That's fine....but if a sponsor wants to push their product and be legit, I'd think they'd follow up a bit better, that's all... Wiseco pistons are twice the price nearly...if there is an acceptable alternative for a lot less money, hey...cash is king now more than ever in today's economy, etc.

And you can just as easily make it to where no pro will want to touch it because you've gone beyond saving. I like neverdull for chrome. It's a wadding polish, tear a little piece off, use it like a wax on chrome, then let it haze and buff it off the chrome. I had some pretty nasty RDZ/Shearer inframes a few years ago, lots of pitted rust spots. It took one helluva long time to clean them up and a lot of elbow grease, but they came out looking nice as hell. Guy that sold them to me (for real cheap) couldn't believe they were the same pipes....

Funny... On my 4 mil race gas with 4 on the plate, it liked the 3rd curve as well...lots of initial timing but retards faster then the rest as the R's go up, if I remember correctly....

You have less than a 50/50 chance of it working. In my opinion, all the work of splitting the case, swapping parts, etc. and HOPING it seals right aren't worth the chance. I'd buy a matched set....

Yep...it's kinda like a key/keyhole. Compress the spring and the washer type looking keeper will slide out. The pressure holds it in place and locks it... Careful not to ruin the chromie homie.....

Word. Big stroke big bore motors won't even pull 10K. Stock motors setup right with fuel and exhaust will rev to 10K, if that....but they won't "pull" to 10K, power will start falling off around 8.5 or 9 I'd say. I'm not saying it can't do 12 to 14K...but that would take a TON of work and keeping it together would be another chore.

If you warmed the bike up on old plugs, put these in new and went for a WOT run then killed it and put the old plugs back in, I'd say your main is SPOT ON. Those look great. I'd say perfect. Now...keep in mind, if you're in a cold climate it will richen up as the weather warms up. I bet that bike pulls nice up top, how does it feel off idle and in the mid-range now that the main is dialed in? Uh...I just looked and you're in AZ... You don't even know what cold weather is...LOL. If it gets 20 -30 degrees warmer, it'll richen up on you.... But you guys don't get sub zero days then a few months later get 80 to 100 degree days like us MI guys do...

Teddy... There is nothing wrong with his motors or his accomplishments, no one is denying that. Nothing wrong with him being busy...it's understandable. But there is a difference in a reasonable wait...and too long of a wait... Top that with sometimes answering the phone, sometimes not...if you were in the "not answered" group, you'd get aggravated as well. There are plenty of people out there, including MI people who see Dan at the track or live/visit his shop that say the same thing. He's a great guy, innovator in our sport...but his response time is lacking...that's all.
