  1. I am going out to Gordon's today with WATKINS. We'll be there the whole weekend. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up!
  2. It doesn't have leaf springs. It has shocks and springs. If I flipped the axle, the differential would be facing the back of the golf cart right?
  3. Since you are in El Cajon, as am I, I recommend you go to herrjugsracing. I've gotten my motor built by him (twice) and he can create some serious power. His prices are the lowest you'll find and nobody will spend more time on porting your motor then he will for the price you will pay. Not only is he a great builder, he will go out of his way to make sure you get what ever it is that you need and will even meet you in the desert and help you tune your bike if needed. He is local, in San Marcos. His name is Kevin and I would seriously talk to him before you talk to anyone else. Check out his web site www.herrjugsracing.com and give him a call!
  4. I would go with Douglas blue labels. They are cheap and light. Blue labels are the thinnest, but if your not going to be jumping or dodging any rocks, I would go with blue labels! Buy them on RMATV!
  5. If it is not the parking brake switch, it sounds like your way too rich. try leaning out your carbs and see if that works!
  6. I thought about this idea too. The only thing with this, both of the gears would have to be really strong to be able to support the torque. What kind of gears do you recommend? Remember, I aint got NO cash flow$$$.
  7. We thought of that idea too. Right now, the shaft out of the motor that the belt is connected too, is behind the motor. If we turned the motor around 180, the shaft would now be in front of the motor and could not be connected to the belt. Unless, we mounted the motor on top of the axle/differential. It would put a lot of wheight on the rear end and would be sticking out of the golf cart! It would look really bad! Unfortunetly, that idea would not work out!
  8. I am currently getting a new motor put in my golf cart! I have a 1990 EZ-GO. It had a crappy 2-stroke motor that had a cracked case and no power! I bought a brand new Briggs V-twin 18hp 4-stroke motor to put in it. I am paying a friend to do everything. He called me today and said he ran into a big problem. The way he is going to mount the motor up to the belt driven rear differential, the golf cart would only go in reverse!!! He didn't notice this until he was about to bolt the motor up. The motor only drives in one direction and the diffrenential does not have fwd and rev. The only thing we can think of is to find a differential with fwd and rev. Does any body have any ideas of what else we can do or where I can pick up a used golf cart differential for cheap! My budget is completely out so I need something really really cheap! All you custom golf cart, buggie, truck guys, please help! Thanks!

They are coming off my running banshee and have no problems at all. I am also selling my K&N with the billet adapter which has the air box cut off! It is a real nice set up and was done very well. Outer wear included. I am asking $135 for the carbs and $50 for the K&N set up. Or $175 for both. ALL PRICES INCLUDE SHIPPING!!! If you have any questions or want pics, PM me and I will get you them ASAP.
  12. my ring gap is .011. is that good?
  13. I am putting my motor back together and need to know a couple of things. -what should the gap be on the piston rings? They are 66.5mm! -what is the torque on the cylinders? -what is the torque pattern on the noss head? I can't remember. I know it's something like 10, 15, and then 25in/lbs. Let me know the exact! Thanks!
  14. Domes are already sold! Still have a stock swingarm, rear blue plastic, stock head. I also have a right side cylinder that is ported but needs to be bored to 6 or 8 over. Left side is ported and needs to be resleaved! If anyone ownes a machine shop, pick these up and turn around and make some money!!!
  15. My bike is apart getting ported agian and my golf cart is getting a new motor! I'll be ready to go around Easter or so! I want to make one more trip before it starts to get too hot! (Even though Easter weekend is hot as hell anyways!!!) LOL!

  17. The Tusk base gaskets are made out of paper! Not medal. They will rip and get sucked into your cylinders! That's why they are so cheap! OEM are good gaskets but too damn expensive! If you are going to buy aftermarket, only get Wiseco or Cometic! Those two are the best!
  18. I also got a stock swing arm for sale! Great shape, nothing wrong with! Anybody interested?
  19. Yes! They are interchangable! Interested?
