  1. Are the dates for sure??? What's the temp gonna be?
  2. Again, what are Cubs???
  3. First question, what are CUBS? I live in San Diego and want to know a good well known company close by who does good porting jobs?
  4. dlnoss, boonman, fastboys
  5. Banshee will smoke it hands down. Unless the rider sucks ass! It might have a chance!
  6. I think when it comes to dirt bikes, there is only one and one only! That's the new 450's. Yeah 250's are fast, but nothing compares to the 450's. They are fast as hell. Get one of those!
  7. I removed the little black box and now my bike idles just fine. Thanks for all the help guys. I have everything back together and the bike rips! Thanx!
  8. I just installed mine this weekend. When you buy them they should send them to you all ready set up for your bike depending on what you have done. The jets are #erd as 58, 60, 62, etc. I have 60 in mine and I am running t-5's, k&n no air box, noss head, 20cc domes, and I am at sea level. Bike runs great with those jets. Hope that helped!
  9. Sounds pretty easy. Is there any problems that I might have that you can warn me about before hand? Let me know anything that I should know! thanks! How does this thing stay installed? (screws, bolts? etc.)
  10. How do I get rid of the whole system. my bike won't idle because of the little switch inside the throttle housing. that is the tors button right? How do I remove everything?
  11. so how do you install this thing? It is completely different than a adjustable timing plate!
  12. Has anyone used the timing key that alba action sports sells? It advances your timing +3 degrees. It is NOT adjustable. Just +3 that's it. It looks really simple and only costs $10. Wondering if any of you have one of these. How does it work and how do you install this thing?
  13. I disconnected something electrical off the stock carbs. Is that the tors? Is that why my bike won't idle? I will remove the whole system if that is the problem!
  14. Thanks for the encouragement! I did use the stock pods, and yes they were a bitch to get on. I had to boil them to get them to stretch. what size fuel lines did you buy? And how did you get your bike to idle? Let me know!
  15. I really doubt that. 28-30mm carb upgrades are for stock motors. 34-36mm are for ported and built motors. Bigger carbs is one of the best bolt ons you can do for your bike. I've already ridden it, and it has made a huge difference. I can feel how much more power it has! Thanks for your opinion though!
  16. I have a few questions about some carbs that I bought and am trying to install on my bike! I bought 30mm D-slide carbs off ebay from a seller named Carb Parts Wharehouse. They only cost $200. That's why I bought them. Well I went to install them yesterday and ran into problem after problem. Where do I start! First of all, has anyone ever used these carbs and let me know if you have the same problems as me! So I go to install these and the carbs dont fit the rubber boot that connects the air box. It was too big. I asked them when I bought them if they would fit and they said yes! So I spent all day trying to find the two single K&N's and no one had them. So Motoworld said to boil the boots and try to stretch them. So I did and they fit! Barely! Next I go to install the throttle cable and it's way too long! Way too much slack. So I had to route it all crazy to get rid of the slack. Then I go to hook up the fuel lines. Get this, the stock fuel lines are too short, and the male end on the carb that the line hooks up to is smaller than the one on the stock carb. So I don't know what to do there. I jimmy rigged a smaller line, but it might not stay on. Still gotta figure that one out! Last, I start it up and it runs good, but I can't get it to idle. I don't know what to adjust to get the idle up. they came with no instructions. So this evolution took two whole days! And I am still not satisfied! Did anyone who bought these same carbs have any of the same problems! Please let me know! Thanks for reading!!!
  17. Check out this website! There are some sick ass Banshees on this! http://www.cascadeinnovations.net/
  18. I thought that the suspension would be nice on these things! That's how they need to start making all the quads!!! Would be nice ha? I haven't seen one in the dunes yet either. I'm going to Gordon's in two weeks. Hopefully I will be able to race one this time!
  19. Even though I have one, boost bottles don't do shit! It's a waste of $30. Buy something billet or new grips or something! The reason I got one is because I heard they improve throttle response and that's the only thing I could afford when I first bought my bike.
  20. i'd say anywhere from $3k-$4k. Talk him down with those worn tires!
  21. I just have a quick question about your bike! How did you like the +4 timing? Did it run okay and did you notice a big difference in power? Let me know!
  22. You can always tell the difference from the smell. Race gas is potent. If you usually use race gas you should know this! I mix mine about 50/50 as well and you can defenitly smell the race gas!
  23. ???????????????????????
  24. This is going to be the same reply as all the other ones on this topic! I raced my buddies 400ex with big bore kit, port and polish, you name it! He couldn't keep up with me in 4th gear! I still had two more gears to go. You can figure out the rest!
  25. Sounds like you went to hell and back. But in the end it's all okay! Bike sounds fast! Post some vids or something! Congrats!
