    better open up the side case and look, could be stuck or the adjuster nut came loose in there

    use the cooland drains on the side of the cylinders, I wouldn't think to drain completely.

    was running 270 when I made a trip up there from N.W.Indiana had to go to 300 and it stopped bogging at WOT

    are you talking about the cable stay? it looks like a 3/8 wire that your top screws go into if so bend it back by hand or use a small long pipe

    since youll have it out I would suggest getting your crank trued and welded,unless your modding up in thier, shift star mod.

    depends on the temp the day it blew, the 270 would be fine if it was 70-80, 280 if it was 60 , 40-50 go up 290-300 or you gonna blow again its always better to run alittle fat no matter what Im going to assume your running no lid
