I have a set of mikuni stock carbs 2002 I bought on ebay tors , toomey needles 350 mains 30 pilots. I bought them but didn't realize the plugs are round not square (daugh)I already fixed the carb problem( took tors off) so these are extra.Also have an extra set of reed gaskets (yamaha) in plastic still if anyone needs them.Boost bottle,extra reed cage with reeds still new,stock steel nerfs that will not fit also ( I just don't feel like welding) I need a decent set of nerfs(black preffered) for my 87 shee. anybody have a trade by chance??

I would like to it to be stock or min mods if possible. This bike will be for my 7 yr old who loves to ride with me and RIP IT!

I need new chain adjusters for banshee will trade carbs off a 2002 banshee stock hardly used and i know the price diiference but i don't care or boost bottle what do you want, reedcages have several with reeds from 2002 ,2003 banshees. The price differrence is you will pay the shippng if you want ! I am no dummy but have alot of parts I dont need and don't want to sell just trade for the parts I need.

Just wanted to let ypu know I had the same problem and have been trying to figure it out for a while now and found my carb bowls were switched i fixed it and it starts on the first kick again!!!! :headbang:LET US RIDE FREE!!!! Tim

How do you tell the difference in the bowls when you take them apart?Do the tors units plug into certian plugs or can they go to whichever plug? And what is the setting for the floats for a fmf fattie set up with 290 and 2.75 jets?

repiped to stock less powerful but alot quieterand still have 25 pilot and 250 main I would think if i change main to 200 or 210 it should be good ran beautiful at warm had to give it one shot of starting fluid to get it going but i think it is flooding out when starting now. I pull out the choke and now I smell gas big time when starting got the screws at 1.75 out.Compression at 120 both everthing else is clean and good. i am going to replace the spacers at the reeds and get rid of the boost bottle too.

Dude you have the same problem I did don't spend money buying new reeds It is a jetting problem. I bought a used 87 and it wasn't jetted right I had to use starting fluid till it warmed up them it would start fine. the pilot jets are probabaly too small. they are what starts it then the main kicks in when it is warm and it will start ok right!!Mine has fmf fatties and he didn't have but a 25 pilot jet when it calls for 27.5 or 30. i just put my stock pipes back on and it is fine. But I do need to change my main back to 210 Im have a 250 in for the pipes.Lmk what you think or work out. Tim

Gentlemen, I thought you might be able to help me I have a 87 Shee open box with k&n,I believe old style fmf painted(poss d&g) can't find any markings, with fmf chrome silencers ,main 250, primary 25, Boost bottle. Reeds good, carbs are spotless 2002 without tors. It will not start without fluid today I ran the srcews out to 3 pulled the choke and she will fire but will not stay running. this the closest I have gotten to starting without fluid.I am putting stock pipes back on tommorow. am selling the others to whoever wants them. Any help would be appreciated with this!!
