  1. Hey I've heard of that too, but is there a threaded inset for the bolts to attach it. I've never looked, but then again it probably wouldn't be a good idea for me because my luck I would jump on and forget to open both of them and F!@$*? something up............. :yelrotflmao:
  2. I guess too many people complained because I got a mesage from the Planet Sand webmaster stating that it was free again, so they are inviting everyone back.............. :shoothead: Can you say bad career move................. :: I guess banshee chick doesn't get her escalade after all............... :yelrotflmao:
  3. Well with a motor like that I'm sure there wasn't any banshee motor parts, and I'm pretty sure with that much torque that the suspension was after market, and the plastics were trimmed, and an aftermarket gas tank was added. So, with that all said, I think you meant to say a modified banshee frame won the Rally..... :yelrotflmao: J/K man, its still cool...............
  4. Yeah it was kinda fun for a little while, but then it is just the luck of the draw................ Welcome to the HQ bondage Duckie................
  5. I thought it was rediculous too, but then I opened a few of them. They are to different states and different areas of states with regards to USDA, USFS and a few others. It probably would have helped if he would have put Alert - then the state affected.............
  6. I went and got some 21x12x8 9 paddle padla brats, and can't wait to get my bike back together to try them out..............
  7. Yeah, I thought that timing seemed awfully high too................
  8. It's really hard to tell if someone is screwing you, when selling things on e-bay, or anywhere else on the net for that matter. But i guess if you try and check with the bank first it will help..............
  9. Oh man, no cylenders, tank, or grill, I think you are takin' this strippin' extra weight thing a little too serious................. :yelrotflmao: Anything to win................
  10. Yeah, I'm not PCing my frame or anything, but mine is still tore apart in the garage. I finally got off my ass and started cleaning the garage, and I actually found something that I lost years ago............the floor. I'm going to have a hell of a burn pile goin' in the back yard woohoo. After I clear some space and move some crap around I think I might put the shee back together. It's been so long since I've looked at her I hope I remember where the motor goes................ :yelrotflmao:
  11. And remember you are trusting this thing with your life when you are flyin' up the hill at mach 4..............
  12. How long ago did you do this, and how do you recharge the Nitrogen............?
  13. You still need to check your plugs though, but that will get you in the ball park.............
  14. It not only helps with the change of season's but also with the elevation change. They will take your main jet up or down two jet sizes, and get the snorkel if you ride in the sand or fine dirt...........
  15. Yeah, before my cub my compression was at 85 and if it gets below 100, it is almost impossible to start. Your stock compression should be around 125-135 and yes it depends on your elevation. The higher you are the less air pressure, and yes they should be within a few pounds of each other............
  16. How much compression does it have? You need to fix the spark problem first, but then check the compression............
  17. Man, I hope you are good at welding so that it is still balanced when you are done..........
  18. Those desk tops are sweet...............
  19. A couple pages back there was a point mentioned that stated that all the events take up a lot of time. If thats true then why don't they have the shop take care of itself with its employee's. Then he can hire people for the events when they come about which are paid by the entrance fees and sponsors. Then the sponsorships that advertise on the site can pay for a webmaster and site mainainence. This isn't rocket science, but then again, if you are tryin' to achieve the salary of one I guess he is on his way............... :yelrotflmao:
  20. Happy birthday man, I'll buy ya a shot tonight. But if you don't drink it within two minutes then I'll have to drink it for ya................... :yelrotflmao: Have a good one
  21. Yeah, presidents day weekend is looking like either Sand Mountain, or Dumont, Pismo is too small, no big hills and too many limitations.............
  22. Yeah, the cubs were designed to take the stock configuration of parts with out having to buy a special head or other parts. If you use all the stock parts you have you will be killing the performance of that motor. You really need to set the motor up right before you use it..................
  23. Are you sure he didn't say straight cut gears..............? If so, then these are usually put into trannies with higher horsepower bikes to allow better shifting due to increased stress on the tranny. If you are having trouble hitting nuetral with the engine running you may think about getting your shift star modded. When I put mine back in, I could hit nuetral with the engine running.............
  24. Not only does it make shifting easier, it also alows you hit nuetral really easy while the bike is running. Before teh mod I would have to shut my bike down to shift into nuetral, but now I can do it with the bike running...........
  25. Yeah, I like goin' to sand mountain, except this time of year its colder than a well digger's ass out there at night. I used the haulers for about three years without any problems, but now I have a set of brats and can't wait to try them out with my new cubby. Wifey said she wants to go camping now, ITS JANUARY........... ::
