If you have it tore down, it is always a good idea. I have heard of cranks on stock bikes having problems, but that is rare. If you plan on doing any type of mods and have the bottom end tore down it is a cheap fix for peace of mind.............. :thumbsup:

Yeah, I second that contact Jeff at FAST and he'll hook you up with all the toys, and give you direction on your mods. I agree I would do the port job, but it would be the dune port not the play port. Plus any beefing up goodies to keep the bike running and not breaking parts all the time would help...........

You really need to ba careful on the net playin' these games. It's one thing watching the money leave your hands when at the casino, but it doesn't quite have the impact of just clicking bet on the computer and then tryin' to pay the bills next week...............

The shows sound like they would be a lot of fun to go to, but they are to far away to justify the trip. From what I have heard from people is that it is like a show and shine to let companies show off new products that are rather pricey.................

Yeah, when I first got bit by the sand bug, I couldn't stand the sound of the shee with its rinnnnnggggggg ttiinnnnnnnnnggggggg, ttiiinnnnngggggggggggggggg, and all the shiny crap. Well I finally came to my senses when I noticed that the shee was doin most of the spankin' on the sand. Sooooooooooooooooo, I bought one and there is nothing sweeter than hearing the shee on the pipe, brrraaaaaaaaaaaaaap, braaaaaaaaaaappppp, brrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaap, and as far as bling, damn-it I dont think I can stop..................

NO matter how much horsepower you give the 700 or 450, it will cost half as much to get that same amount of horsepower out of the shee. My brother is buying a 700, because he thinks that it will spank my shee, little does he know that I just put a 421 cubby between the pipes.............. The amount of tension should be the same as it was for the stock chain. The only thing you did was change the length of the swinger, but if you put more slack in it when you get on it, the chain will slip............

The cubs were designed to go very fast, not trail ride unless they are riden in the dunes where you have lots of room to move around............... Bigred knows from experience about the different set-ups, and mine is set up like his last one. I don't trail ride though, and most of my riding is in the dunes or down at the river............

YEah, its a pain in the arse to get the wax out of the scratches on the plastics............. ::

My front ones broke, so I had to super glue the rubber back on the metal part. I mean they just ripped, but before they can totally break in two I glued it to try and make them last longer.

Hey Bigboy, sorry I can't help, but you might try a search for stator, or flywheel because I know I have seen a picture of that side posted.............

For your current mods I would say the 8 paddles for a shile, but if you plan on increasing the horse power then plan ahead and avoid the headache of selling these paddles to get the 10's........ :thumbsup:

Mine are just drilled out and nothing is in the holes, and it looks cleaner............. :thumbsup:
