  3. i had basicly the same set up with out the reeds before all my mods and i could pull a 15t no problem, i weigh 215 and i hit 86. stock tires. gnarly's are hurting your top end.

  6. bad bearings in chain rollers cause a poping sound also. do what bigred said and mark your chain and sprocket ride it and see for sure.

  9. i have also heard this, but i heard that they were going to take two yzf250 enigines (which is a pretty high reving 4 stroke) and put them together. i will believe it when i see it even then i 'll hang on to my banshee.

  12. i have been researching differnet options for a bullet proof tranny and cryo treatment came up. i was wandering if any had it done and if it really works. i have read abit on it and it makes sense to me. any info would be appreciated. i think i will also be going with the duneable override, if i can't get the cash for that does any one make stronger than stock shift forks. or are there any street bike trannys besides the rz350's that will fit in a banshee?

  15. what is the best, strongest and cheapest tranny up grade? my shift star is ground down already. is there any aftermarket shift forks that are stronger than stock? i try to keep power shifting to a minimum but my forks bent. my bike has been shifting like shit for a while and saturday night while racing flat track and shifting using the clutch the whole time, i lost 5th and 6th gear, not completely but it was near impossible under power and hard off the power. i am sick of not being able to get the gear i need when i need it. a frickin raptor and kfx 700 beat me because i coldn't get past 4th gear. please help.
  16. well i got 4th and 6th for 5th overall. not too bad considering that i didn't have crap for traction and my bike wouldn't shift past 4th gear 95% of the time and it was my first time trying it.

  18. it looks exactly like and has the same part number of the pro com junk. get rid of it.
  19. nology coil and wires. the msd cdi runs off of batteries that last aprox. 2 hrs per charge, if you are just drag racing it would be the way to go. general riding i would look in to dyna. but what ever you do don't get a pro com engineering cdi. thay are trash ,your bike either wont start with out being pulled or will die when you try and rev it. i went through 4 of them before i got my money back.
  20. if it is smoking more out the right side it's probably the crank seal. if it was the left seal you wouldn't see hardly any smoke at all from the left because you would be lean on that side. or you could put it on the patch to help it kick the habbit. don't be so up tight man, you had to know that some one was going give you a hard time, it is infact a 2 stroke and well... they smoke.
  21. you can't really tell from the intake side. most of the power comes from the transfers and exhaust. but with the intakes looking like that i can only imagine what the rest look like. the first set, that one cylinder looks pretty scratched up. i personally wouldn't buy either one, i would just save the money and have mine done or get a cub set up.

  24. thats pretty close to how many ponnies i've got, plus i'll be in the novice class and i really don't think there are gonna be any bikes as fast as mine in that class, but you never know.
