  2. i met a guy a couple of weeks ago and he had taken two sets of stock foot pegs and welded them together and then had them chromed. looked and felt really nice. cheap to.
  3. my bike is stock so i can't help you there buddy sorry. but i would also like to know because i am lookin at all that stuff for my bike.
  4. back when i was 13 or 14 my cousin had a ktm 85. my step dad had just rebuilt it for him and told me to hop on it and break it in be for we gave it back. so i puttin around the back yard and make aright turn up along the side of the car portout and down the drive way then down the street and back like a littel track. and each time i am going a little faster. keep in mind this is like the 4th time i have riden a dirt bike. on the end of the yard where i was making my turn to head out and do it all over again was a six foot tall rose bush that was about ten feet wide BIG THORNS and on the other side of that is a chain link fence. i am headed down the past the car port twards the back yard and i make the left turn and gap it and the throttle stick wide open in third and i rocket acrosss the yard straight at the rose bush. i hit the kill switch and lock up the back brake and slides out the back end and dump it and prossed to to slide in to the rose bush wearing shorts and a tank top. my step dad runs out as i am pulling the bike out of the mangled fence and rose bush and says what happened and i told him the trottle stuck and he started laughing and said i thought that your ball got pretty big there for a minute. and i proceded to pick thorns out of my ass, legs, arms, and chest. about 150 total.

  6. there are over bore head gaskets. i know on my kx 500 i would have to get one if i bore it. i would imagine that you need to on a banshee also being that the head gaskest are pretty close to the bore to keep a tight seal.

  8. i talked to the guys that run the event this last saturday. every thing is broken up by qualifying times. and he says that the top fueler are going to be qualifying are 2.4, 2.5ish times. he also said that the world record was set there last year at 151mph at 300 feet. quallifyers are going to be on saturday the 11th and the finals will be on sunday the 12th. should be a good show and there should be some nice rides. this is a west coast points race stop. i was thinking about running my stock banshee in what ever class i could qualify for, just for fun.

  10. raptor tires do hook up alot better than banshee's do [The difference between the two tires is night and day]the differance really is night and day. but if you are paying for them get real tires. not stock yamaha crap. and yes raptor wheel do bolt right up to a banshee. i borrow my friends paddles off his raptor all the time.
  11. 14 now i know that you are full of shit. unless you have been juicing, the only thing that a 14 year old is going to be able to do on a 89 hp shee is own first and second gear in a sraight line and crash. when i was 14 i rode my step dads 88 shee, about 75 hp and it was way too much bike i was 5'3" 135 lbs and it damn near dislocated both my shoulders when the power band hit and at that piont i had been riding for 6 years. you don't need to lie to make friends kid.
  12. when you take someting into the pro's you are suppsed to get it back in better condition than the way you gave it. not i a box. i would cut them a check and cancel it the minute i steped out with my stuff. and then i would talkk shit about the shop to every one and hopefully put the fuckers out of bussines because they don't need to be one if they don't do there job.

  14. full of fluids a stock shee weighs 367 lbs. banshees are one of the best ballanced bikes for jumping, the stock suspension is very capable. the only bikes that i have riden that jump better are a 250r quad or a 200x three wheeler. if you are nose low or high it is mostly because where your body is over the bike. i jump on average about 6 to 8 feet high and about 30 to 40 in length and haven't bottomed yet. and if it's not good enough you can always up grade to the long travel a-arms with elka shocks. banshee is always a good choice. but then again i am very parshal.
  15. last weekend i rode with a guy and his bike dynod at 70 hp. as where mine only has a 2 into 1 filter so you could say that i ate alot of sand. i couldn't emagine what an 89hp shee would run. and the way that he hasn't posted again i think its safe to say that guy is full 'o' shit. have any of you guy seen the turbo kit for banshees? at 10psi of boost 120hp to the ground. at 25psi boost 185 hp to the ground. pure craziness i know that you can get about 90 hp with the 500cc big bore kit. and if his parrents are rich you never know, i still think he's full of shit
  16. i had a radiator hose pop on my KX500 and blow all over my leg and it really isn't much fun . it was about 190 degrees at the time.
  17. did your wheel hit the tree to? your wheel might be a little smashed. that would explain the bouncing up and down feel

  19. i have been riding it but i really don't like riding and ugly bike. but better and ugly one than not one at all. it looks like a sad puppy with droopy ears.
  20. chromers wont dip used exhaust parts because it messes up the bath and the chrome doesnt stick like it should. i say high temp black if you can't get the ceramic done.
  21. i have been looking and resurching pipes for a little while now. i was wandering if any of you guys are running DMC alien 916s or have runn them. what's your oppinion ect. thanks for the help
  22. i got my bike from a friend that hurt his back at work and wont ever be able to ride again. it's an 03 and had maybe 6 hours on it two of which were from me riding it one day. the only thing that was wrong with it was a nice white crease on the right rear fender from when i wrecked that day. it had sat for a about a year and he asked me if i knew if any one wanted to by it for $5000. i said that i would be more than happy to take it off of his hands for that price and went and got it with in the next 20 mins or so. i am in the navy and we are leaving on a detachment to fallon Nv the next day. me and a few friends take off to sand moutain on our first day off and ride like mad men all day, no problems what so ever. on our next day off exactly one week after i got my bike we are back at sand moutain. we unload and i take off for about 20 min and come back and let my buddy ride because i let him ride abunch a few days ago and he showed that he knew what he was doing. so he is rippin around having a good old time and start to head back to the truck. he was in like 4th gear about 50 yards from me and headed right for this pretty narly berm. at this point i am thinkin turn left, turn left and start to wave him left because he obviously dosen't see it, but he keeps coming. the front tires hit and pop him up a bit then the back slams and he sling shots about 15 feet in the air off the bike stiff as a board. mean while the bike is about the same hight kart wheeling end over end behind him. i take off running over to him as soon as he hits the ground. the bike lands on its back tires and flops down on all four and rolls right over the top of him then stops. i was at him before the bike stoped and saw blood all over his face. i ask him if he was ok and he yells no look at my fuckin arm. there was a big bulg between his left elbow and shoulder. i help him up and over to his girl friends car and make sure that he's not in too bad of shape. when i know that he'll be alright i walk back over to my bike and am instatly pissed. the first thing that i see is the front bumper is completely demolished, next the handle bars are bent in opposite directions and right side to the rear and left side to the front and the key is bent at a 90' angle. then around to the back i go. the sub frame is bent down satrting at about a foot from the back on the right side it's down about 4 inches on the left about 2 1/2. the right and left silencers are bent down the same as the frame. i head back to the car and say man i hop ethat you are allright but what in the f*ck were you thinkin. i didn't see it until it was to late and i'm soo sorry are all he can say. him and his girl take off for the ER and i proced to work on my battered bike to make it rideable again. two hours later i am back on the dunes and riding out my anger. when i get done rinding several hours later and start heading back and i give him a call to find out how bad it is. he broke his left humorous and bit through his tounge in two spots. man was he lucky that he was injured because i would have beat his ass. he agreed to pay 1300 and some change for the parts he bent or broke. but we will see i may have to beat him after all.
  23. talk to dan in the parts department of www.adrenalineps.com he has a 250r three wheeler that is burnin alky, 68.3 mph up sand moutain in nevada . super nice guy and very knowledgable about bikes.
