  1. holy crap. umm, me thinks there's something wrong with this picture. Right one looks lean and left one looks pretty beat up. Id rebuild em in the near future and get a new mechanic.
  2. are the Tors removed on them and is the thumb thumb throttle a stock (polished) unit or after market?
  3. all banshee fenders will eventually head south but there are temporary fixes to this. I use a bungee cord stretched from one side to the other. when Im not riding I just attach the cord and it helps. I have heard that heating will help. No matter what you do they will eventually sag again.
  4. its a website
  5. Someone wanted the code for more cash. R1, R2, L1, X, left, down, right, up, left, down, right, up. That will give you $250K and you can do it as many times as you want. Oh it also gives you more health at the same time.
  6. 1988-current KDX's to name one.
  7. You lost me on that one sredish. Are you saying because you have diferent carbs then some parts wont work for your bike. I wouldnt think that the carbs would matter in most instances. Or are you referring to carb parts specifically. Guess Im just not seeing what your looking for here. I dont think it would be that hard to find a bike that runs 35mm PWK stock but the rest of the parts arent going to fit the banshee. Be more specific of what your asking for and hopefully one of us can help you out.
  8. no it wont. I have one.
  9. stock pipes are the best Seriously if there are 50 diferent pipes then your going to get 50 diferent answers. Whats your riding style, Budget, sound preference, Engine mods. Its just to hard to say one or the other without some more info
  10. You need to get this fixed or else your going to be rebuilding your engine in the near future. First things first, Run some good gas in it. Dont run some cheap unleaded gas, go for the premium or race gas if you have lots of compression. Bite the bullet and pay the $16 for engine ice, It will do wonders. Make sure you are jetted right. If you dont know how to check your jetting just say so and we can tell you how, its easy. Tighten all your hose clamps down. The inline cooler is the last thing you should get to help out. Dont drag your feet on doing this, you will be glad when you get it fixed. Good luck
  11. well Im running a stock swinger right now and have sand stars all the way around. I can sit on the tank and pull a wheely in second without trying and in third if I give it a little lift. If I sit normal I can probably get it up in fourth so should I get a extended swingarm? I like the looks of a +6 but hear that you dont want to go more then +4. what should I do?
  12. Why would you want a shorter swingarm? I am going to extend mine by 4 this winter to help keep the front end down on takeoffs and hillclimbs but the +4 will also give it a much meaner stance. I personally think shorter swingarms are ugly. what are the pro's and con's of a shorter swingarm?
  13. Thanks for the reply's guys. Those are some good looking bars roosthrower. I think the main reason of getting new bars is to add some bling but I dont want to sacrifice confort or handling when doing it. I dont like the looks of those bars that stick up further than normal and that is why I was interested in the drag bars but those tusk bars look sweet. No sence in adding bling if its just going to start flaking off though. Which size bar will work with the stock steering stem? I dont even know where to begin when looking for bars as theres so many diferent brands and styles. If anyone has any more advice or just want to brag a little about their own bars please do. I need help guys. Thanks again, Mike
  14. Ok guys, I did a search on this subject but didnt find much. I am thinking of getting a new set of handlebars and ditching the stock ones but dont know which style works best. I have seen the banshee drag bars but dont know if they would be practical in all around riding. I only ride dunes but dont do much dragging. What would you all recommend? Thanks in advance
  15. Cant help ya there, but mine smokes more out of one pipe also.
  16. ADVICE: smoke like a non-thinker or Think like a non-smoker. Dont tell yourself that you are quiting but consider yourself a non smoker. That will help you psychologically. Other then that, chew lots of gum or carry a straw in your mouth. After the first 3 days it will be much easier. Let us all know how you are doing. Good Luck
  17. I dont mean to rain on your parade but thats a lot of cash for your shee. If you can sell it for that much then more power to ya but I would bet money that nobody will even call. Good luck anyhow.
  18. The problem is that you tore apart all the fun stuff. Take your motor back apart and make sure the fun stuff is in there. If it isnt go down and get ya some more fun stuff. That should fix the problem.
  19. so lets see how many polishable things on the shee can you come up with. I know the basics but some of the parts may be steel and cant be polished. I didnt think the kickstarter could be polished.
  20. Just regular old work boots here.
  21. wow, good job buddy. I have taken a few of those tests and they arent easy. Sounds like you have a good career going for yourself. You should be proud.
  22. If you have patience you can do it with great success. take your time and it will come out just like chrome. I have done lots of mine and am getting ready to do the hardest part, the carbs. With the carbs I have to make my own felt bobs to get into the tiny areas. I cant find any small enough around here or on the net. meathead did a great tutorial but I think all the pictures are gone now. If you have any questions at all just ask and Im sure many of us would be happy to help you out. Good luck.
