Is this forum going down hill like all the rest? I have never heard so much negativity since the last time I visited #%3## site. You guys dont do a very good job at welcoming people into the forums. Banshee riders have a rep for being cocky little rich mammas boys and some of you are starting to prove that theory to be true. For those of you that actually help BHQ members and provide support when needed, you are the true gentlemen and can go riding with me anytime.

You the man SDD. If we had more people like you in this world it would be a much better place. Thanks for helping the kid out

Ya, I couldnt figure out why he wanted stock parts either but to each his own I guess. So far he seems to want to work with me though. He even called me the other night to let me know that he was shipping the parts out ASAP. Why would he make the effort to do that if he planned on screwing me over? Also for those of you that traded with him, did you send junk parts to him and that is why he screwed you over. was the parts you sent him free of dirt or mud and intact with NO zipties holding it together. Im not defending him but not really going to jump on him just yet. If he follows thru with what he says I will be sure to let you all know.

Im not sure if I understand the question. You want us to give you a Banshee plus $6500 for the 350 raptor or what were you thinking. I hope I dont come across as a jerk for asking but if that is the case then I dont think your going to find a deal. Even a strait trade for the Raptor would be hard to find as most people that own a shee would not be interested in the raptor. Not saying you wont find a deal somewhere but I think you may want to clear up what you are trying to trade. Good Luck

It is a 2000 or newer. As far as I know the vin charts arent available for years 2000 and newer. It doesnt match anything 1999 or older. Sorry, thats the best I could do for you.

crap, I voted before I really knew what the question was. I thought you were asking if I was a good freestyler. I think I would have voted a little better had I known it was for you. Im fast but not that good at freestyling yet. So, ya I lick left nut.

So whats the diference between CPI, Shearer, and rockets anyway? Still Id go with CPI's

I comunicated with him a lot before I shipped out my airbox. I even called him as I was walking out the door to have it shipped. I had a feeling that he may have had other deals going so I wanted to make sure that our deal was still on before I shipped it. So far he has responded to all my emails and everything looks good except for I havent recieved a tracking number for it. If He wants to send the airbox back to me that is fine but I better get a refund of $17 for my shipping costs. I dont want my airbox back, I want the carbs, tops, and filters that he had promissed me in the original deal. I am in no way saying he is a thief yet as there is time to make things good between us and Im sure this was all just a misunderstanding or a lack of comunication.

GOOD JOB LED!!!!

Wholy shit, I made the same deal with him. I even took the time to clean up my airbox and reoil the filter. Mine was a damn nice unit with the pro flow and all that good stuff. I am still waiting for my carbs and what not. He has replied to my emails and seems like he wants to help me out but as far as I know he hasnt shipped nothing. I even gave him a tracking number for the airbox. This sucks!

I wouldnt worry to much about them. Theres usually a ton of bikes louder then my cpi's here at the Oregon Dunes and when you see a cop just go the other way. Sometimes you have to sit in the parking lot and wait for the sherrif to leave but he's usally got his eye on someone else anyway. I think the piped 4 strokes are a lot louder then the CPI's so there shouldnt be much of a problem.

Remeber the days when your dad would hand you a pocket knife and tell you to go widdle. We all made rubber band guns and ran around the neighborhood shooting things. I remeber when Copenhagen was ok at school and guess what, yes a day at school was a full 8 hours not this half day stuff that most kids have now days.

hmmm, well Ill take your word for it. My wheel may have just been dirty or something. Ill keep hacking away at it and see what happens. Thanks a ton guys

make sure all carb screws and boots are tight, other then that my only guess is one of the overflow's. Are your hoses getting old and cracking. Whatever it is it should be a "BIG PROBLEM" just a little tightening of screws and maybe a new hose should fix it. Keep us informed
-
Its currently at $3,900 and a good deal at that. If it goes about $4100 Id forget it though. You will NOT need a new crank anytime soon. Sounds as if the motorwork has just been done so you should be good for another 2 or 3 years depending on how often you ride it. If you have to have it shipped or have to drive a great distance then I would recommend waiting a little bit longer. I paid $3,900 for mine and its a 2001. So far thats about the going rate for them but there are cheaper and more expensive ones out there just gotta be patient. Let us know if you win the auction or have any more questions. Good Luck, Mike

Ok guys, I have done a ton of polishing aluminum in the past few years but never done a set of banshee cylinders. I just started them and did a little spot to see how they are going to turn out. Got a shine out of them but they look more like steal then aluminum. They have almost a black chrome look instead of the traditional chrome finish. I also noticed that they seem much harder then normal 6061 aluminum. These cylinders are off of a 2001 Banshee. Am I just trippen or are these things cast Iron. MeatHead, Help me out. Thanks in advance guys.

I noticed the same thing also. I also noticed that the majority of complete banshees on there are on the west coast. Here in Oregon, you hardly see anything but a banshee and there are thousands of them here but rarely see one on ebay from this area. Another thing I hate is I noticed that the small business's have taken over ebay. everything is brand new and sold at retail price on there. I wouldnt mind finding a bunch of used billet on there from a PRIVATE seller.
