Ya, take a better look at it. If you lower the tailgate about half way down and pull out on it it will just come right off. I also wanted to bring up to things that came to mind when reading your post. If you cant just look at it and tell what happenned then you probably arent the one that should fix it. Take it to a shop or have a buddy fix it for you. Also If you arent so mechanically inclined perhaps you should think about getting rid of the Ford and getting a Toyota or something Foriegn. I got rid of my 93 F150 for that reason. I can work on them but I got tired of having to do it so often. Good luck to you

One thing that I have noticed is that when someone new joins the BHQ and asks a question everyone always says "do a search" Now if everyone did a search for the questions they have then there would be no need for new posts. This bugs me since it appears to the newcombers that we dont like to help them out and rather just tell them to do a search or get lost. Just my own opinion.

Well, still no word from the prick. He has screwed many of us over and I doubt he even had any intention of following thru with the trade. Now we need some ideas on how to get even with him. If anyone has a good revenge for me to do let me know. Maybe I can put in a change of address for him and have all his mail sent to my house or wished there was a small mail bomb that would just hurt him and not kill him. It cost more to have it chromed then it would to have it gold plated. I used to do gold plating and it isnt very expensive. The initial cost of the plater can run you a few hundred but then the cost of enough solution to do a full bike would be less then $100. I used to do my spare change just for the hell of it. I have several ounces of gold but it is in raw form and has not been leached yet. I used to spend $20 on solution to do a $600 rim job (car rims, get your mind out of the gutter).

Everything I have done to the bike besides plastics and frame have all been engine mods so now its time to make her shine. The clutch cover is one of the things I need the most since the rest of the motor is polished and I still have that black cover. Other things I need in chrome or aluminum are: foot pegs, shifter, brake pedal, kickstarter, handlebars, any nuts and bolts, chain slider, hubs, and I am also looking for stainless cables. So if anyone has anything (8hondo, cotton eyed joe)please PM me with some info on them. I can also pay thru PayPal if you use that, or I can mail payment doesnt matter to me. Thanks again

hehehe, I know what your feeling. I just dropped mine off yesterday up in Portland (4hr drive) to get done. It is getting a metalic blue base coat with a white pearl overcoat and then a few coats of clear. The plastics also went to the same place to have the same thing done but in a black. Best part of winter is the rebuild we all get to do.

I give you credit for at least trying to freestyle, especially on a banshee. I call BULLSHIT on the elka "sponsorship" because if they did sponsor you, they would hook you up with the shocks you need. On top of that I live on the Oregon Coast which probably has more banshee's per capita then anywhere else. Banshee's are king of the dunes and Dunes are all we ride around here. As for saying you all are rich little mammas boys I think I was just blowing off some steam. I know you ALL arent jerks but after reading this thread and seeing most of you slam on freestyler for being proud of what he can do kinda got me going. BHQ should be a place where people feel confortable to hang out and post and if everytime someone makes a post you all slam them then this site is going to go down hill very fast.
