  1. My wife rides a Brun 4X4 I guess it's better than her not riding at all. I did a ground up restore on a 2001 Warrior that turned out nice, but she did not want it so I sold it for about 3 times what I had into it. Then she had the nerve to ask for some cash
  2. Never been beat by a thumper, and have raced most modles made. Even when it was stock, I could spank a yfz
  3. I have heard that they can be Flash cured (a little heat at a time) but I'm not sure how well it holds up. I just sandblasted mine (stock a-arms) and primed & painted them.
  4. Started out running Yamalube at 32 to 1,motor looked new inside, after rebuild castor 927 40 to 1 in AV gas.
  5. When my 2004 was stock, I went to FMF Fattys with turbine core 2's, tors removed, K&N pods, and droped to a 13 tooth sprocket on the front. Had tons of low & mid range, and you will not get hassled for sound. Went with 20X20X10 8 paddle Haulers. It is a dune only bike ridden at sea level! Hope this helps
  6. Sorry to here your story. I have a cable alarm lock 120 db that I put through the frames then in the toy hauler window and lock it around the table post. I feel sorry for anyone around that trailer if that alarm ever goes off. A Colt Combat Commander 45ACP is pretty loud, and I would hate to wake the whole campground shooting some dirtbag trying to jack my quads
  7. I now run Av gas with Maxima Castor 927. 40 to1 For the first year when the bike was stock, I ran yamalube at 32 to 1 on pump gas. When I tore down the motor for the rebuild, it looked new!
  8. I gap the plugs (BR8ES) at .20 and gap the stator pickup the same. I run Bel-Ray 80w-90w hypoid gear oil in the tranny, and AV gas with Maxima Castor 927 @ 40 to 1(16oz to 5 gals) Seems to work well
  9. I had the same problem with my VF2's The corners started to round off and was a bear to start (sucking too much air). After seeing the cost to replace the petals, I went to VF 3's and love them. 219.00 shipped from Motosport.com
  10. I just went from stock to a +4 and love it. it still wants to go skyward when I launch it in second gear
  11. I think I found a set Thanks
  12. I'm looking for a set of banshee front spindles. Thanks,
  13. 52" HDTV and Satalite system upgrade to HDTV noe she said that she needs something to pry my ass of the couch
  14. I got a set off e-bay from highdesertwholesalers also and have to agree, best price and fast shipping
  15. I just had mine powder coated and removed all the tabs I didn't need. They pluged all the threaded holes. I did have to use a dremel tool to clean out some non threaded holes but it was easy. It turned out great !!!!
  16. I'm looking for a front set only with grill for a Banshee, Black or Blue but other colors ok too! No crackes or deep scratches please! E-Mail [email protected] Found some Thanks to all that looked!!!
  17. I had that same thing happed to me but it was on the left side. Turns out it was the V-force reeds. They were not sealing and it was sucking in too much air. I put the stock reeds back in and it was fine. Hope this helps
  18. If I understand your question, you will have to modifiy the top shock mount and the bottom of the shock (YZF450) to fit the Banshee. I put the 450 shocks on my 2004 banshee and love them. I think there is a post on how to do it on this site.
  19. I just did this last Saturday (I'm also doing a Powdercoat job on mine) I used a large flat blade screwdriver and a hammer to tap it loose. It shouldent be to tight. When I did a Warrior, I used my radial arm saw blade wrench, it fit perfect inside the hut.
  20. I just looked and found them. I think you can go to e-bay and type this in and it should come up. 39.95 + 15.00 Shipping http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-RAPT...1QQcmdZViewItem Bling Racing Motorsports The link does work, I just checked it. Hope this helps, if you cant find it send me your e-mail address and I can forward it to you from e-bay Don
  21. I bought some off e-bay and they are sweet. The place is in Canada and I think they are about 45.00 shipped. I will try to put a pic of them if I can figuer out how to do it. They bolt on to the stock pegs, and I had to add a 1/8" spacer to both sides of each footpeg. Don
  22. I sent you a PM to see if the Fullbores are gone. If not I will buy them!!! Please reply ASAP
  23. I ran the v-force 2's and they lasted 9 months before I needed to replace the reeds. The corners were damaged and the reeds would not close all the way. I put the stock reeds back on and saw a big difference!!! It did not pull as hard (on my stock motor) Now that I an having the motor ported, bored 20 over and wisco pro lite pistons, I will put a set of the v-force 3's in. The replacement v-force 2 reeds are way to much $ so I opted to go with the 3's at 219.00 and free shipping.
  24. Going to go with Pro Design, 18cc domes, 20 over bore with Wiseco Pro lite's, and dune porting. Getting it done this weekend
  25. I got mine off e-bay for 250.00 shipped. Tried them this weekend and they worked great!!! Much better than stock, and cheeper than Works!!!
