  2. If I remember correctly a guy where I work tried that and there was no idle control. I dont remember if it was fast or would not keep running. Get the kit, and a set of K&N's you will love it.
  3. I put V-Force 2's on mine and did not change anything. Stock motor, FMF fattys, tors removed, K&N's, 310 mains 27.5 pilots Runs great. I think it's a little rich, but guess thats better than lean.
  4. No I didnt take the carbs apart. I rode it Saturday and it screams. I kind of hate to start change anything cause from idle to WOT it rips. Guess I will try going one position richer on the neddle and see what happens. I can allways go back. Thanks Everybody!!!!! You guys ROCK!!!!
  5. Well I'm not sure about the Comp. it's a 2004 so I would think it's ok but I will check it. Going riding tomm. so I will see whats up. I will put in some new plugs and do a plug chop. Thanks Everybody!!! Don
  6. Anymore sugestions? I'm going to try to get a test run tomm. between rain showers. It's weird, once it starts it idles fine, and all the way through the powerband it runs and pulls hard. I'm using 16oz to 4 gals. (40 to 1 I think) I will also try the Choke trick to see if that makes a difference.

  11. Greetings All! I have a 2004 Shee mods are FMF Gold Series Fattys, Duel K&N's, Boost Bottle, Mains are 310's and Pilots are 37.5's Air screws set at 1 1/2 turns. Tores gone, Motor Stock. Allways run at Sea Level. It's a real chore to start when cold. After it warms up, it will start with 1 kick and runs Strong (no boging) I just installed a set of V-Force2 reeds. Do I need to rejet? I fired it up (same as befor hard to start) and it idles fine (once it starts) and winds up and sounds real good. I hope to get it to the dunes on the 9th, and will put in a fresh set of plugs to see what it's doing. Any sugestions? Thanks, Don AKA BansheeX
  12. Go with it. Makes a big difference. I start out in 2nd gear most of the time, and like Kenr74 said it's great for tree shots.
  13. They gave me a free set when I bought the bike, I sold them and bought Haulers. I tried them first and it felt like I was sinking in the sand. The Haulers are soo much better. I will go 10 paddle on the next set .
  14. The FMF Fatties are great all the way through the power band. My motor is stock for now and I'm runnung the Fatties with power core 2's, K&N's (no Tors's) and a 13 tooth front sprocket. I ride Dunes all the time, and it seems to work well, even when the YZF 450's and the Rapptors want to play! I can keep up with them! and spank them out of the hole.
  15. The last time I rode at the local dunes, there were 2 YZF 450's that sezied up! One of them was trying to race me That's a tough way to lose.
  16. Thanks for the link. Now I just have to figure out what color to paint it I'm getting ready to order a Powder Coating system, to bad it won't work on plastic. I pretty much stay on the Dunes. Not many places to trail ride, and if I do trail ride I use my wifes Yamaha Bruin. It's nice to have both Don

  18. Power Core 2's sound great. I've seen lot's of Shee parts on e-bay. I have bought a few polished parts and they look and fit well. Welcome to Banshee HQ
  19. I got the Fatty Golds and Power Cores Better perf. than stock, and look and sound Good !!! Still fighting the jeting tho. A little boggy starting out (to lean I think) so I richened it up a bit and it's better. I think I need to go up one size pilot jet.

  21. I had my wife look and she said no spark. I will look for a plug tester on the way home today, I have seen them, they hookup inline with the plug wire and the plug and have a light that's easy to see.
  22. I got my Shee back yesterday when I picked it up after geting FMF's TORS removal, and K&N's it ran fine. I traveled about 100 miles with it in the back of my truck in the rain. When I got home, it would not start. All the stuff like gas on, kill switch in run, key on and choked. I seems like it's not geting spark. and the plugs are wet so I assume it's geting fuel. Tried a new set of plugs and removed the K&N's and still a no go And sugestions? I want to ride this weekend
