  1. You running your stock airbox? If so get the Pro Design billet adapter plate and run a single K&N. If not get K&N clamp on pods.
  2. Anyway to set them up using the pull style choke??
  3. Alright I need a set of bigger carbs, stock is just too small so Im wanting to trade my AMS Aerspeed paddles 20x11x8 on Douglas Blue Label rims. Brand new in package Cascade shift star and K&N airfilter with Pro Flow adapter and Outwear. All are in excellent shape with very little use with exception of shift star, its brand new. Would like a set of 30mm or bigger carbs in good working order. Thanks Paddles Pic Paddles Pic Cascade Shift Star K&N Setup
  4. Myself, I say anyone caught burning the flag gets sent to Iraq to live. Even though its becoming more of a civil place to live. Post Saddam anyway.
  5. Will trade paddles and K&N with outwear and pro flow adapter plate I have for a set of carbs. Would like atleast 30mm.
  6. Ok sweet, Ill try it out then. Thanks for the replies.
  7. alright cool, what elevation you at?
  8. Yeah I think Im gonna start at 340's and go from there, dont want it blowing up again. As for elevation Im at 700-800ft.
  9. Oh yeah, I know how dangerous these things can be but Im sure the tool I got should work out otherwise I wouldnt consider doing it myself.
  10. Just wondering if anyone runs stock carbs with CPI pipes and what you have for a setup. I had a motor problem a couple weeks ago and for some reason my right side piston burned up as you can see here. I was running 300 mains, 27.5 pilots and needle was at 3rd position I think. I was told that running the stock carbs with CPIs though I should be around 360 or 370 because of the way CPI's pull. Anyone that can shed some light on this so it dont happen again?
  11. I think most just do it for running different pipes, although I have heard a few people say they notice a small difference.
  12. You can get that kit but having work done to your cylinders to make them fit, getting them installed and paying someone to do that is very expensive. When its all said and done you could have bought cub cylinders for the same price or less and they will make alot more power.
  13. Pop and cut out aye? Sounds like an air leak, perhaps why it wont start now, Do a compression test and if thats good try a pressure test.
  14. He's alright, David Blaine is the man though.
  15. Just bought a used pair of Pep's shocks and want to get the springs powder coated as they are chipped and what not and was thinking I probably need a special tool to compress the springs back down. I have one already for when I did my trucks and was thinking that could probably work?
  16. Why do you want to switch from Shearers? They make the best drag pipes money can buy.
  17. I got RDZ Level 2 porting. I just switched from a nearly stock Banshee to what you see in my sig. I was real happy that the CPI's/RDZ porting put out in the short amount of time that I actually got to run it. As mentioned about ditch the pipes and go for some Shearers or CPI's and of course Haulers. I went from AMS Aerospeeds to Haulers and alot better in how much lighter they are and how they hookup.
  18. Good gas in it? Have you checked the plugs to make sure they're not fouled?
  19. Congrats on the shee. As for elevation put you location into google and search something like "your location canada elevation".
  20. Dont know if I missed it but what exactly is wrong? If I was told what was wrong with it by him saying only it was fubar, I would be like wtf is wrong then. With so many aftermarket parts and stock parts that can be picked up for so cheap its hard to believe the whole thing is screwed. Even if its something like the crank, a OEM trued and welded one can be had off ebay for $350. I learned this lesson the hardway but its better to work on your own stuff. I bought 1k in new parts for my Banshee then paid a "mechanic" $470 for labor to have it blow up with no more than about 30-40 minutes of ride time. So now it sits blown in the garage until I can get more money for another top end and get it back together. I will be doing all the work this time myself. I've never done it myself but between common sense, a Clymer's manual and Bansheehq.com and planetsand.com what really could go wrong?
  21. Exactly why I always check what the item costs brand new and what its selling for used on ebay before I post a price. Nice 250r, been wanting one for a while, wish I had the cash.
  22. Bought these about a year and a half ago and have 7 or 8 dune rides on them. Switched to Hauler Extremes so I dont need these anymore. No holes plugs or leaks anywhere, both paddles and rims are in excellent shape. Size is 21x11x8. Looking for $150 shipped Pic One Pic Two Also have Cascade shift star for sale. I bought these and dropped it to my builder to have him install it when he put my motor together and he "forgot" so now its up for sale. Brand new in the package yet, never installed.
  23. Bought this back in March and has only been used for 4 trips to the dunes. Filter/plate and outerwear are all in excellent shape with no damage or anything done to any of them. Looking for $85 shipped.
  24. Looking for a pressure testing setup so I can check out my Banshee and its problems. I found instructions to make one but I'd rather just buy one.
