  1. Just won a set of CPI pipes with Cascade silencers and clamps off ebay and was wondering do I need to wack my fenders to make them fit? ANd Im guessing I need to lose the stock air box?? If thats the case I got a Almost brand new K&N with precharger and proflow adapter if anyones interested..
  2. Indeed. Did you check the inner or outter diameter? I dont know how Yamaha does the measuring, Id guess inner diameter. But if its not uncommon for people to bore out Banshee carbs.
  3. I've never stayed in either, when I go I either camp or drive up being Im about 45-50 minutes away. By the looks of it though I'd say Silver lake Resort has a smaller parking lot, I do believe it was a Best Western at one point. Its real close to the dunes, its right on the cornor by a boat rental place and next to the Silver Pointe gas station, Craig's Crusiers and everything else. Sierra Sands is about a mile or so away outta town and appears to have a much bigger parking lot. Both Places are fairly new and I'd say as equally nice, I wouldnt say either been around for more than 5-7 years but Im not exactly sure.
  4. Does Jeff sell them outright? I dont have time to send mine in to get it done.
  5. I just orderd got a Noss coolhead and he set me up with 21cc domes for pump gas and Im at about 700-800ft elevation.
  6. Oh damn, I got the current high bid on his auction right now for a hush kit. Ill tellh him to cancel it and link him to this thread.
  7. Got the Shift Pro for my banshee now looking to get a different shift star, I am still having some trouble hitting gears. Whats are some good ones to look at?
  8. From your description on parts, I'd say you better have some health insurance. Also did you get that off planet sand?
  9. Hell of a deal and I recieved the item quickly, great seller, thanks again.
  10. Also, one of the stud holes has a heli coil in it. will this things hold up? Hope so anyway haha.
  11. Yeah, I know the odds of me hitting even 60 with the mods I have will be unlikely, just wanted to see everyones thought about getting the crank welded. Found a guy on planet sand 2 hours away that will tear my motor apart, weld the crank and install my new jugs and top end for $175. Seems like a pretty fair price. Just a ways to drive.
  12. Yeah I think Im only gonna get 50-60 tops. Gonna run it this summer and tear it down in the winter and do it.
  13. I just thought about this and was wondering, how many horse can I run before I should consider getting my crank welded? Currently I am running a stock motor with Vforce 3 reeds, K&N with pro flow and stock box/lid and timing advanced 4 degrees. The cylinders I am getting are RDZ ported Level 2 rated at 80 horse... With all my stock parts plus the few little upgrades I have now, will it keep the power low enough to not ruin my crank?
  14. alright, you happen to know the length, and Im guessing these are fine thread?
  15. Need a set of banshee head studs in good shape. thanks
  16. If they are stock banshee carbs, should be 26mm.
  17. Make sure you get vouchers ahead of time. It gets so packed that you are constantly watching your back to make sure no one in a truck runs you down, almost been hit about 5 or 6 times myself when Ive been up there when its busy. I may possibly go up for just on day during Memorial weekend but I'll probably just end up ripping the top end off my Banshee and get my new jugs and top end on.
  18. If you've dealt with me and it was good, put it here. Thanks.
  19. Yeah thats what I did. I just saw them on ebay while I was looking for a new top end a thought I would ask if anyone had any experience. Look like good pistons but I dont wanna be the one to find out wether they're good or not.
