  1. To wake up very old sleeping dogs, i wanna ask if somebody maybe has a diag nostics of the plumbing. Maybe a picture or scetch of how the hoses should be connected would be awesome. Detailerd descriptions are also appreciated. I'm having the same problem with the cooling system after (paintjob &) rebuild. Thanks
  2. as far as i can tell the carbs are correctly in sync, the circle in the little glass window is at dead center. Maybe i'll check the airscrews, but mains are brand new and the same. I took the plugs out and just looked at them, you can really tell the difference right: perfect light coffee colour. Left: black and wet. Here's some extra info: - Brand new flywheel - Brand new aftermarket coil - Brand new Stator+timing plate - Brand new CDI I have no idea if this can have any effect, but its worth mentioning. Anybody who know's this problem, i could REAAALY use your help.
  3. I have a 01 shee that is basicly stock with a couple of modifications. - boost bottle - K&N Pods on carbs with outerwear - VForce 3's - Dynojet Jetkit (Needle's at groove 4 from top, and mains are DXP 270) - +4 timing - Fuel mix 1:50 - At sea level My problem is that the left exhaust is smoking a lot, when its cold and warmed up it smokes more than the right. You can realy tell the difference. It runs great though, just a lot of smoke. When i take the plugs of, the right one is perfect coffee colour, but the left is black and a bit wet. What could be the problem? I dont think you can jet your carbs individually, can you? How can the left be richer than the right. Need some help!
  4. I've had the same thing when i put a brand new clutch in there. When the engine is off, and you pull the clutch a couple of times, does is happen again? If so, it might be the metal piece in the bottom that has bent. I was realy getting pissed when it happened to me, then i checked the bottom end of the cable and found the metal piece that keeps the cable in place was bent. Have you checked that out yet? Hope this helps
  5. I have a '01 shee, and i want to know if im running the best setting to get the best speed/torque results (sea level). This is still with the stock exhaust, wich will stay on for a while. this is the setup right now: - K&N Clamp on Filter (2) - Dynojet jet kit Stage 3 (main jet DXP270, Needle groove #4 (from top to bottom)) - Advanced timing (+4) - Front sprocket 14T - Rear sprocket 41T - VForce 3 (expecting) How can i improve my setting to get the maximum results/speed, without losing to much torque? At this point that sucker lifts the front weels in 4th gear with ease. Any tips are welcome.
  6. My appologies, due to unexpected expenses, i will have to postpone any large purchases at the moment. Sorry for the inconveniance.

  10. What do all these things do (i'm very curious and don't know much about these parts), also is K&N that much better than twinair? (more suggestions are always welcome, to help me make one crazy a$$ shee )
  11. Hey guys, i got a question. I want to get more power out of my shee. Its pretty stock, as far as i know i have a twinair filter on it (airbox lid removed). Its also a little bit on the Rich side. How can i get more power out of it, please a detailled explenaition - wich part, and explenation why - I got some different ideas but realy want to know how you guys would do it. I will be mostly riding on sand, or desert like ground
  12. The right one is light brownish, and the left one is a little darker, but also when i took em out they seemed more wet than normal, so maybe youre right about my jetting, And ho do you think i can solve this problem in the best way, if you can give detailed info plz.
  13. Hi, This summer i was riding my '01 shee With denso plugs and it did great, till one day i thaught, i should replace my plugs because they were in there for a while. So i did i changed them with brand new NGK BR8ES, those did fine for 2 days, then they just died all of a sudden, i put back the old ones and they also died after a day. ( i know sometimes i dont let it warm up so good, buts it was more than 90 degrees outside) :: my question is, what could have caused this to happen?
  14. Problem solved!.....Spark plugs gave a real weak spark, when i replaced them, it screamed again like there's no tommorow :baseballcap_blue: Appreciate all the quick help
