Atleast the Banshee is ok :beer: I've had nothing but good luck with mine so far. I was a little upset when I first got it. The dealership said to run 40:1 so I did and I proceded to foul about 6 sets of plugs there after. So I jump up to 50:1. Still rich but running better. Next I add K&N airfilter, +4 timing and VF3 reeds. Perfect, done all of that and my jetting is just now good, although that doesnt matter anymore, the whole topend / filter set up is getting changed. Sorry to hear about your misfortunes, but really I think you can only expect better luck to come from it now you got all of that out of the way the week you had it. :yelrotflmao:

Yeah I was checked for sound also at Silver Lake 2 years ago. Bone stock with the exception of my paddles tires. Also I contacted Cascade about machining a spark arrestor end cap for their silencers, they said they are in the process of doing so right now but are not sure if they will be spark arrested. As far as the stamping only on one side, Cascade said they stamp both pipes with their CPI Racing logo but if I only got one side stamped to consider it a bonus

Kind of worried about that, being I hear that most pipes that are stamped versus ones that arent make a few HP power difference.

I didnt have to but if I were to get checked CPI's are way too loud. They're just what came with the pipes. I was also told by the seller they were spark arrested.

Some polished aluminum rims, chrome pipes and grill and it would look sharp but looks good as it sits.

I live in west Michigan and go to Silver Lake usually every other weekend, I'll watch and see if I run across anything like it. Sorry to hear about it.

I have a friend that runs DMC pipes, they sound good but are really loud and they pull good bottom to mid.

Well got my CPI pipes with Cascade silencers that I bought off ebay and find out their not spark arrested like the seller had said. So now, Im insearch of a clamp on spark arrestor big enough to fit the Cascade silencers. They measure 3.5" OD. Anyone know where to find some? Also wonder, The left head pipes is the only one with the CPI stamp on it, does CPI only stamp one of their head pipes per set? the right has nothing on it.

I just ordered 4 different main jets sizes from magic racing at $3 each and 2 pilots at $4 each. www.mfgsupply.com has stock carb jets for $1.99 each I believe but shipping is like $6.99

Also with this setup will I notice a difference between the stock carbs and the 28's? If not Ill just leave my stock ones on it. If not anyone know a good place to buy Keihin jets? Also can K&N 28mm clamp ons be tightned down to fit stock carbs without worry of letting any dirt in

Just bought a set of CPI pipes with Cascade silencers off ebay some Im gonna get rid of all of my Toomey stuff. What you get is: T4 Chrome head pipes 1 set of old styles silencers (bigger in diameter) 1 set of newer silencers 1 set of cobra sparkies 2 extra silencer cores 2 extra snap rings 2 extra end caps $325 + shipping for all of it.
