  1. I thought backing plugs out meant you were really fast!
  2. Do you have the original shocks for it to make it normal again?
  3. Go with the twister crank if you can afford it. Louie is great to deal with and makes an awesome product. You wouldn't be disappointed. -Jared
  4. Shit man! Hope everything turns out ok. That's a huge chunk of change to go tumbling down the track on....
  5. The link is in my signature.
  6. Hey man, there is no reason the bottom end assembly walkthrough shouldn't be showing the pics, they are all still there. Try the link in my signature... -Jared
  7. Looks good. I like the american flag graphics. -Jared
  8. Generator & a little milk-crate heater. Take the time now and tear the walls down and put up some insulation before riding season starts. On most of those enclosed trailers the interior of the wall is actually open to the bottom of the trailer, allowing wind and cold to get up in the walls. Insulate everything and a little 1500watt generator and a little 800watt heater will keep it plenty toasty in there. I did the trailer thing for a long time. I built a frame up in the front of mine that held a queen size bed and it was up high enough you could drop the bars and drive two quads underneath the bed. Mine was just a 7x14 and we could jam 4 bikes in there with gear and supplies. -Jared
  9. Which one are you talking about? The straight-cuts or the lightened flywheel? Lightened flywheel will let the engine rev up quicker, but also bog easier with a heavier rider. The straight-cut gears will take the side-load off the crank caused by the stock helical-cut PTO gears. They will also give you a couple more hp if you're chasing numbers. -Jared
  10. Those plastics are perfect how they are. Non-cut plastics look like ass.
  11. Thanks for helping me clean out the shop! -Jared
  12. Sorry guys, I'm in Casper, WY. Right now its a battle to the death between finch and vicstuff. I'm guessting Bad One Ton might get into the fight as well since he's pretty close. We will see whats left after these guys come and take what they want. I'll see about shipping stuff after that... Thanks guys, Jared
  13. I'm moving into a different shop and really don't want to have to haul box after box of banshee parts and crap with me. If anyone wants to come meet me at my place, you can have your choice of whatever you want out of my piles of banshee parts. Suspension, frames, engine parts, pipes, nuts bolts, radiators, chains, axles, hubs, shocks... The less i have to move the better. -Jared
  14. How much for the #10 case bolt?
  15. Lean on alky will cause a bog feeling. Throw a ton of fuel at it and see what it does. Whats your current jetting?
  16. Small-block twister. Louie can machine it with whatever port timing you want, just call him. There are plenty of ways around the cooling problems...
  17. When its all said and done it will cost you around $250-300 to duplicate this setup. Tank, rack, filter, lines, hardware, etc. As far as I know I was the first to do this kind of setup & post pics of it. Its not cheap, but works well. Just make sure that you put some shut-off valves or back-flow preventers in the lines or you will over-flow the front or rear tank going up or down hills. It took quite a bit of re-engineering to get the setup to work perfect. I was able to get the same or better ride time and distance running alky as the other guys were getting on gas. http://s260.beta.photobucket.com/user/WyoBanshee/media/MOV00106.mp4.html
  18. Any of your guys that want to hot-lap your bikes ever thought about a water to water cooling setup? Get a small aluminum tank of some sort and put a small radiator inside the tank, plumb your coolant lines through the wall of the aluminum tank and into the radiator. Fill the aluminum tank with ice before you head out to race. It will take quite a bit to heat the entire system up. We use the same sort of setup to pre-cool the fuel going into the big sled pulling engines. -Jared
  19. Even if I blow a motor all to hell on the very first run, i blame myself and just go re-order new parts. I do the assembly & check-out on my stuff & blame myself for anything that happens. Shit happens. Its the nature of this sport and what we do with these machines. Fix it, move on. -Jared
  20. Don't waste your time with Trinity anything...
  21. Ive never understood how people do this... Ive been building banshees for 10 years and never had a bent needle.
  22. Everyone running a pvl seems to have constant issues with them. Ditch it, get a stock stator and flywheel and a dyna ignition and put a custom curve in it for your setup. Is your twister a big block or small block? Jared
