Water does not get into the cases. Those are heat reliefs, to prevent cracking the block with the temp differential between different compartments of the block. If you have water in the heat reliefs you have big problems.

Honda pattern, right? -
I've had both and prefer the 472 for my riding style. It all depends on what you want to do with it. The 485 with powervalves will be good for low-end and midrange stuff, the 472 runs good in the upper mid-range and top-end. The 472 with some timing and compression runs good down low, and pulls hard up on top. The 485 was smooth and predictable, but just not as much fun to ride as the 472. -Jared

I'll bid eleventy-seven dollars. -
Kevin @ HJR can hook you up with a nice override. Give him a call. Great guy to deal with and really fast turnaround time. -Jared

I have +2+1 arms and a jj&a axle on my drag bike. No probs.
-
A-arm bushings or ball-joints on the a-arms. The busgings usually wear out first. Jared

The bigger bore on the 72cub helps with bottom end, but you still get that cub style powerband. Its more of a high-end setup. Good for dunes or fast trails. IMO it runs better than the 485 cheetah i had before this, and the cheetah was ported.

No, that was a 485 cheetah, this is a 472 super cub. They both run pretty similar, but this super has more top end. Different engines in the same blue bike chassis. Thanks, Jared

Any decent machine shop can fix it for you for cheap.

Nope, no dyno time. Only heat cycles and a quick test-ride afternoon at Walden.
