  1. The factory fuel lines are pre-bent, so they don't kink when you make that tight 90deg bend by the right side carb. The wires should sit inside that little arm on the side of the airbox.
  2. Made in japan. I've used them in the past and not a bad company. At least back in the day.
  3. Or hell, maybe its home made. haha
  4. Like I was saying... looks like it might be off a single cylinder engine of some sort. This is a honda 250 stator setup. This one is from a WR125. Yours looks similar to that design. Maybe someone rigged it up off another machine.
  5. Does it run? Maybe its a PVL off a single cylinder engine of some sort that someone tried to jerry-rig into a banshee. Or maybe they had a coil failure and removed the bad one and forgot about it? Both cylinders fire spark at the same time, maybe they are running both off the one pickup coil.
  6. PVL Ignition. Usually on drag bikes from what I've seen.
  7. Around here stock bikes bring around $2500 if they are running good and have a set of basic pipes on them.
  8. Looks like an old set of Toomey T3 or T4's
  9. are the SB SF power pro pipes still available?
  10. how much for that billet basket in the one pic?
  11. I ran a 4mil dune ported stock cylinder with shearer pipes, high compression, 7 or 8 deg advanced timing, etc for 3 or 4 years on methanol and beat on it almost every weekend all summer long, rode every chance I got after work and any time the temps were above about 45deg. Beat on that bike a lot. It ran awesome until I got a batch of bad methanol from a tank at the dunes I rode at the time and blew my top end. The more power you make the harder it is on everything. That's why the little 35hp stock bikes lasted for years and years... Just take your time and build it properly and they will last for quite a while.
  12. Do you have the thick rubber gasket behind your stator cover?
  13. Haven't made much progress on this lately. Picked up two skidoo summit 670 x sleds for free and I've been getting them running again.
  14. I've dealt with HJR in the past. Kevin still in the game? I'll have to hit him up...
  15. Who is still around that does porting on stock cyls?
  16. Hey man long time no see! I'm back here too after a few years away playing with RZR's and turbo trucks...
  17. Yeah, hoping to have something together by spring to take out with the RZR when we ride. You can throw the 2-5 in an empty set of cases like I had in the above pics, attach a drill to the input shaft and set a zip tie on the throttle so it spins at a set speed (slow) and just click it through the gears and see if it shifts up properly. Just don't get all wild and crazy with it or spin it so fast the bearings get hot or bushings get hot on the trans shafts. You could drip a little oil on the free spinning gear bushings on the trans shafts before you start.
  18. I had a 4mil dune port stock cyl that was just a blast to ride. My favorite was probably the 612cc big block twister. It was fun.
  19. I've had plenty of big bore stroker builds and know whats involved. I had a 612cc big block twister drag bike, a 485 cheetah, a few 10mil cubs, about 10 different 4mil dune bikes and about 10 different stock strokes over the years.
  20. I've always liked shearer small bore pipes on my duners.
  21. I don't do facebook. Deleted it about a year ago and don't miss it. I will probably end up doing a 4mil of some sort. I kinda doubt the boss will let me spend the money to build a 10mil. I like to dream though...
  22. All else fails just weld it in. hahahaha
  23. Yeah, I think so. At least around Wyoming. Got a 2into1 intake with a nice pwk carb, a set of brand new OEM replacement carbs, FMF pipes, cascade bars, straight frame, nice cases and OEM internals that haven't been touched... For $1000 not a bad deal. Needs tires and some suspension mods for sure.
  24. agree.
